I've been playing this mod for about 5 hours now and I'm really wondering... Why is it that no stashes are available anywhere?
I go to hard to reach places, roof tops, buildings, I climb stairs and ladders only to find... Nothing? The rewarding feeling of exploring a building for loot is gone in this mod, why is that? :/
Aaaaand another question haha :D I tried changing the buy_item_condition under every file in gamedata/configs/misc/trade but it doesn't seem to work?
Is there a way to edit FOV? I have a xrgame.dll which gives you a fov command but it overrides the mods file.
I know this is a mod resource but if I install this as it is, will there be quest, loot, hidden objects and stuff to do?
I wonder, oh I wonder.. I have The ultimate Doom and Final doom on steam but, which one is this mod for and exactly, how do I use it?
Guys, what are the easiest/best way of reducing radiation effect?
And is there a way to lower the repair prices? Paying over 100.000 to repair my 50% armor is too high for me, I'd like to lower it :) I just can't find it in the config files.
I just updated Misery from 2.01 to 2.02 which results in the engine crashing after a few seconds in the main menu. I can just reach the "Select class" menu and then the engine crashes. Is this a known issue?
I installed the 2.02 as "2.01 compatible".
Ah thats right, I'm using 2.01 :) I wasn't aware of 2.02 so thanks for the hint Yastiandrie.
Guys, I'm using Misery 2.1 (sniper), I have an exo-skeleton from Nimble. I wanted to upgrade it so I could run while wearing it. But upgrading the 5% durability at Cardan in Zaton makes my game crash, is this a known bug?
On misery 2.1 the game crashes when upgrading nimbles exo-skeleton with 5% decreased wearness (I dont recall the actual upgrade name) :)
Guys what kind of vodka should I bring to Cardan? (repair dude in Zaton). I can't seem to find the vodka anywhere and nobody seems to sell it? :)
As a sniper, is my "ultimate armor" still an exo.? I can buy one from Nimble but I'm not sure if I should do it? I haven't proceed to Jupiter yet. I'm not that far into the game. (I've only reached the bloodsucker lair).
If this is not the best armor for a sniper, what is - why and where can I obtain it?

Yes I have tried Misery :) It's not that I dislike the atmospheric theme in Misery, I just prefer the original theme as it kinda, well it sounds weird but it feels more "right". I have played CoP unmodded for years, the theme makes it all complete to me:)
It puts me in "the mood", it gives me the chills and it adds that extra spice on the atmosphere.
Do you know if there is a guide on how to import the original theme? I can't just overwrite some MP3 files?

Do you know if my 2nd questions is even possible? Stalker just isn't the same without the original theme.
Two questions:
1. I'm going to make a sniper, but is it possible to make headshots and are the snipers accurate at long distances?
2. I love the stalker atmospheric music/sounds, but misery replaced those. Can I get the original atmospheric music / themes back into Misery? If this would be possible, the Misery mod would be complete for me!
Is it possible to use the original soundtracks in-game? The original music gives me the ultimate feeling! :)
No Yastiandrie, I just installed the 2.0 and nothing more. Maybe I should install 2.0.1 :) - though the improvements doesn't seem to make it much easier haha.
I know the mod is ment to be difficult, but it doesn't adjust well to me. I would like to have everything Misery offers, just with some slightly changed things. Should be easy to understand :)
That's odd. I installed the 2.0 + Flashlight Quickfix and then extracted the fixes I wanted from Stiivais adjustments. When the game finish loading, the engine crashes :/ Everytime I put something new in the gamedata folder, it crashes.
Misery is an awesome mod. But I wish I could make it "easier". The prices, the stamina, health/dmg and so forth. I would def. love if things were made a bit easier. Does anyone have "fixes" for this?
I found STIIVAIS' MISC ADJUSTMENTS for misery 2 but it makes the engine crash on startup :/
Btw, is "everyday item" useless items? I also have lots of cleaning kits and repair/sewing kits etc. are those useful anyhow? I can't seem to find a way of using them.
Thank you for the tip Minty. Affording food, ammo. etc. is getting rather difficult so your tip has provided great help. I still need to adjust to the difficulty of things though.
Since extracting this Patch 2 (sniper) my crashes right at startup. Have any of you guys experienced this?
What is the best beginner advice you guys can give playing Misery? Any where I should start off heading, something I should collect first, any advices? :) So far, I've only met bloodsuckers in pack of 1-3 which is hard to handle with a rifle and a shotgun ;)
Yeah I guess so.. It's rather difficult as I kept looking in the basement. The quest marker pointed 'down' so I thought it would be down there.
