I've just instaled Diablo II after PC cleaning, so i haven't any single player characters. I've decided to make pala zeaolt. I haven't played much with this char, so any advices will by nice. I'm also going to download Median 2k8 and make another (about 8th) assassin. Imo, in Diablo II assassin sucks, but in Median she's insanely strong. For those, who want to try good ol' Median 2k8, all that you have to do is type "Median 2008" in Google.
There are a bit different skills than in Median XL, and they are, imo, little bit more powerfull. For example: assassin with Way of the Spider, Way of the Phoenix and Black Lotus skills is insanely powerfull. even with crappy eq she can deal about 12k dmg, so it's very easy way to kill monsters like Butcher or this annoying trap that's summoning monsters before fighting Baal.
Sorc with FIRST fire skill (apocalypse or something like that) can beat first 3 acts in less than 2 hours! Necro can summon many monsters, armageddon traps and then he can start spamming this black hole crossbow skill and he PWN's everything in Kurast 3.000 BC on level 60! Mostly because of four things:
1. Archon negates skeletons immune to everything.
2. Rampagor with rised his passive skill can inflict damaga of about 10k
3. Armagedon traps deal huge damage on large area. If you summon 3/4 of them they'll blow everything up.
4. Black hole crosbow skill hasn't cooldown, so it can be used insanely fast and deals damage per minute of about 200k with crappy, magic crossbow.
This four things gives necromancer awesome power and ability to PWN Uber Kurast.
