I know this is a 0AD issue, but are you ever going to do anything about unit mass, or to be more precise, unit collision. It is the reason I could never really enjoy the base game and diminishes my enjoyment of this mod significantly. Units should not be able to walk through each other nor should you be able to have twenty units in one space. The battles look like a mess and one has almost no oversight.

While this is not an issue with your mod per se, but rather with the game engine, are there any plans to change how unit mass and collision works, to have it work more like BFME? I find the complete lack of unit collision in 0AD horrible, but it is even more noticeable in your mod.

If you only play singleplayer, I found them still very enjoyable. If you like a challenging fight you can play against the new races with all the new toys, but if not, they are perfectly balanced to play against the vanilla races if you turn the new units of, or frankly, just the titan units.

FFS guys, we waited so long, we can wait a few more hours. Downloading the game using unsupported links will most certainly lead to errors, not to mention that the devs will not have a real picture of how many people downloaded the game. What you will end up doing is spoiling this whole thing for the developers who invested so much effort into creating this for us, FREE of charge. Do you really want for them to have to spend the next few days helping you fix errors that could have been prevented if you just waited, instead of enjoying the fruits of their work; not to mention being disappointed that so few of us downloaded the mod, because you used unsupported links. The least you can do for the devs is to wait.

I know it's very late for this kind of questions, but will the Gray Knights that the vanilla space marines could recruit be replaced with a Deathwatch killteam, like in the Ultramarines mod? I think it would be a nice touch, seeing that the Ordo Xenos is in no way represented in the mod at the time, and Gray Knights are already a playable faction.

While it's true that the Vostroyans are in a very bad place at the moment, it is important to understand that the team has, if I'm not mistaken, somewhere around 30 race mods that have been released, or will be in the coming months. With the rework of the vanilla races demanding a huge amount of time and effort, there was simply no time to bring all the race mods to the same level and then release them all in one release.

So which mods were chosen for the release? The most complete ones, the ones that demanded the least amount of effort to bring on the same completion level as the vanilla races. The mods that were left out, like the Renegade guard or the Vostroyans require much more substantial changes, which take time and effort. Most of the included mods required just a few bugfixes, a new unit or a model here and there and that's it. The Vostroyans need, at least in my opinion, their whole gameplay changed. It's not just a balancing issue, it cannot be fixed simply by changing the unit values. The way they function as a race just doesn't work. So I for one am happy that the team decided to take the time and do the Vostroyans justice and present us with an awesome race, even though we will likely have to wait a few releases before we get them, as they are not a priority at the time.

I have a weird request. I was going through all the race mods in my favorites on ModDB, in preparation for the coming release (as not all races will be in the first release) when I stumbled upon an old favorite: Eldar Craftworlds mod. This mod, while never released, is a mod which progress I've been following for years, both here and on Revora.

It is currently in a stalemate, and brother Gambit has written over a year ago that other mods take precedence over it and that it's been pushed back indefinitely. That was before the team decided to redo all the vanilla races, hence we can safely say that the work on the Eldar Craftworlds has been pushed even further back.

Why am I writing all of this? It is stated on the MODDB page of the mod that there exists a fully working internal beta version of the mod. An alpha version, if one could call it so, so definitely playable, but not developed to a level of quality you guys would be satisfied with for a first release. I would ask of you to please make this alpha version accessible for everyone who would like to try the mod out. Now normally asking something like this would be ridiculous, maybe even rude, but seeing that it is very likely that we won't see the Eldar Craftworlds included in Unification for at least a year, or maybe even two years, if ever, it might be the only way for most of us try the mod out. For the loyal fans of Eldar like me, it would mean the world to at least playtest the alpha version.

I know I'm asking for much, and I would never ask something like this for the mods like the Ultramarines and the Death Guard, because we know we will get them, at some point in the near future, but here I think I didn't cross the line by asking. I hope you will at least think about it. Who knows, maybe we can even generate enough feedback, that should you decide to once again work mod, you find that most of the bugs have already been found. Brother Gambit wrote a few days ago that the Ultramarines, The Death Guard and the Tyranid Swarm are not going to be included in the first release, but are to be expected in future releases.
