Some History of the South African National Defense force.
During the 1960's to the late 1980's during what is now known as Apartheid, the South African government deemed it nescessary for all 18 year old males of ALL RACES to be integrated into the SANDF. Failure to comply with recruitment was met with a jail term of up to 10 years.
The SANDF was involved with protecting it's borders from communism.
Hence the war in Angola, wich is reffered to the Border or bush war.
During this time S.A was under an arms embargo, from the U.N, wich is what led to the development of all our technology, including the supposed Nuclear weapons develloped by the Apartheid government.
Training was hard, and long for the recruits of the SANDF, but South Africa was fighting Communism, not black people in their entirety, the SANDF had virtualy no racism, we were all fighting for the same cause, to keep communism out of our country.
The SANDF had whole regiments comprised of black people.
