In all honesty, I was about to do a Ghostbusters mod for the HL engine. It's a good idea.

The beam is just going to be a simple sprite... I think I see where you're coming from but I still think it won't be that difficult :D

Yeah, it will run out of juice. It's capacity is 200 and it runs out of energy the longer you hold the fire button. Yeah, you can pick up hicks and drop them to their death. I doubt it will be hard to code :)

Yes, but that's the point. This mod is loosely based on Mars Attacks! and other comical alien invasion movies you might have seen. However, the mod is based more on modern martian folklore like abductions, implants, crop-circles, cattle mutilation, ufos, etc. Glad you like it INtense!

You guys are going to turn that ugly green tiberium into golden ore, right? Along with ore trucks and stuff? And don't tell me the ore will inflict damage on units!

I bet you are all wondering what the hell this is. Well, this is a comical modification for the Half-Life engine based on movies like Mars Attacks! so you can expect to find the humour in those types of movies in this mod. Invasion From Mars puts Hicks and Martians at battle. Hicks get weapons like pitchforks and shotguns where as the Martians get weapons like Ray Guns and Probes (Yes, Anal Probes). There will also be unique aspects to the mod like the modes of play. One play type will be Cattle Run which has the Martians trying to steal cows, and carry them back to their Mother Ship while the Hicks try to "keep 'em yellow-bellies off of 'der property".

This is a busy week for mod releases. So many mods to play, so little time.
