to get rid of health you can make the edges of the screen bloody and blurry to show how hurt you are. Or you could look at deadspace which shows health as a glowing part of the persons suit. (the blue bar on his spine)

Im not too sure about the hud idea. You have to count ammo? No one is going to be able to do that during a fight. How will i know how much ammo i picked up? Ive played games before without any cross hair and it was not fun :(

I suggest you make it an option to turn off the hud, so people who want a challenge can play without it, and people who dont want that frustration can play with it

It was an ok mod. For what was there it was fun but it was so incredibly short that it was over just as i was getting into it. good job, but if you have plans on making a new mod try to make it longer

dude did you test this? Unless im missing some secret the laser enemies are so freaking strong they are practically impossible to defeat forcing me to use god mode. Just a few seconds from the laser and your dead. and there is a serious lack of ammo

nevermind. I accidentally downloaded the patch and not the installer.

hm im not sure why this isnt working. I own a legit copy of portal from the orange box. i downloaded and installed the mod succesfully to the sourcemod folder. I restarted steam, but it still isnt showing up. I checked portalprelude.com and I checked every reason they list for it not to work and im fine

looks amazing. I know there isnt a release date, but is it aleast known if it will come out in early or late 2009, or even 2010?

for some reason the door wouldnt open even though i was clicking it. eventually it did work. I got to the end and destroyed all the helicopters, so why the hell was i executed?

pretty good mod. I like how you use the actual voices of the characters and make it fit. Im not too far into the game but im stuck in this one part. Im in a small room that i got to by breaking a cinder block wall, it has a broken ladder that cant be climbed and a door that wont open. there isnt anywhere else to go

absolutely amazing. good story, great difficulty, very itense gameplay (i was actually sweating). The music really stood out and was quite awesome, loved it all. Will we not get to see what comes next in the story seeing as you have a job at valve now?

very nice mod. The load times kind of suck but overall it is really good. cant wait for #2
