Yeah I have that problem too. I don't think it's the shields though. I think it just does that on certain hard points mainly the shield generator. That problem also happens when you have your bombers attack particularly small CIS ships.

Adapt to the situation. I have been through the same thing you just need to change up your strategy.

It is possible but it's tricky. I had friend of mine that was a computer genius and he found a way. scour the internet you might find a solution. However, it will be a hell of a lot easier to just buy the gold edition.

also try switching the difficulty to hard. Hard and easy is switched to hard is easy and easy is hard. Your still going to get hurt a little. The AI is relentless, that won't change but they will attack with smaller fleets.

yep thats how I was. They say that if you just delete some of your stuff it will be good again. But I tried that and it didnt work for me. Hopefully you will be different.

yes I have and I have sent z a message about this and he replied that it is a known issue. so hopefully it will be fixed in 1.2. I have noticed the problem won't happen as much if you play clone wars instead of rise of the empire. I believe it starts to happen because you have too many units and the game can't handle it.

Strap the six C-4 packs onto a jeep and run it into a tank then, jump out and detonate. you may die in the incident but you know what it is worth it.

What? I think the Imperial Star Destroyers are freakin epic just the way they are. I only hope they will be buildable in 1.2. Also on a side note if I remember correctly at the end of Episode III I think they show a star destroyer and it has no special color or markings. But I haven't seen the movie in a while so I could be wrong.

I'm actually a Republic man but you know what the CIS has the better Idea. You can build a lot more droids quicker and faster then cloning soldiers, soldiers of which that still need to grow and be trained. Droids on the other hand don't need to be fed, they never need to sleep, they know no fear, and if you loose some who cares, they are only droids.

I mean I like the additional ships its just with the darker background behind them that throws you off. If you changed the whole space background to black you could pull it off

Man I hope 1.2 comes out before I leave in August for 4 months on National Guard training stuff. however, if it's not released before I leave I have something to look forward too! Great mod by the way I have to say this is the absolute best foc mod I have ever played and I think I've played most of them. Keep up the great work

It's the relentless attacking they do, not your style of tactics. You pause the game, build up all your crap then boom! you get attacked on six different planets each attacking with a fleet of 75,000 Providence carriers. It's a challenge since us humans can't manage 100 things at once. then after that. 30 seconds they do it again, and again and again. That's what some people including myself are talking about when we say its hard.

what difficulty are you playing on? because I know on mine playing on hard is actually pretty easy but if you play on easy then it's just insane, but still winnable after a while.

You didnt install it right. Read the install docs and find out what you did wrong.

I hate Steam with an extreme passion. However, the problem is, is that most companies use Steam for all their new releases. So if you want a new game chances are it's tied to them whether you buy the game through steam or not. Which really sucks.

Don't go online. There's a solution to one of your problems. AI not attacking isn't such a bad thing you know. The AI is relentless from day 1.

I don't understand why people have had such a hard time with the install. I've downloaded it on three completely different computers, one brand new (alienware laptop), one kind of in between (one year old Sony I-3) and one old (HP windows XP desktop). z3r0x has made some very detailed instructions and even without them it's still very simple to install.

the AI not being able to hyperspace to any planet, new units, and being able to play fall of the jedi without the bug where you can't select units late in the game.

Mine does that too. When you try to change the graphics in the advanced menu does the shader and water bar reset itself? It's just a compatibility issue and I don't think you can fix it. If you find out otherwise please let me know.
