Aw shucks thanks. I am pretty fond of the game too. It was my first multiplayer game that I was addicted to.

You probably had the classic problem with movies crashing your game because of the ancient Indeo codec. I assume GOG and Steam don't have the right to modify the movies so you wouldn't have this problem.

You can download replacement movies or just install the replacement movies found in the Last Resort installer.

dgVoodoo2 is recommended for better frame-rate on modern versions of Windows.

Aw thanks. I am glad that I can finally focus mainly on generating new textures. The upgraded map textures will make it more obvious why the mod exists in the first place, lol.

While I was packaging this up I saw so many maps still to upgrade. No map is 100% complete yet.

Please note that the sound glitches that you hear are in the original movies also. Compression technology wasn't as advanced back in 1998.

Not really a mod. All it does is replace the movies with re-encoded versions that are more Windows 8/10 friendly.

It still works.

I had to change the permission for a DirectX windows file ("dplayx.dll") to get to work. I had to change it from "READ" to "FULL CONTROL"

Sorry for very long time in my reply. I don't check here often.

A1: No sounds are altered by the Last Resort mod.

A2: I am working on new version that will turn off the Last Resort custom menus so you can do just that.

A3: To be honest I never use the camos, I am a traditionalist that just uses plain blue uniforms. Sorry, don't know answer.
