Nvm, I fixed it, the problem was that the steamAPPId was off so I changed it to 218 and it was fixed. Thanks for responding to my post though.

I even tried downloading another version to see if it would work but it did not.... Please help, this is an interesting mod and I would like to play it but it just keeps doing that exact thing. I have hl2:ep 2 and alien swarm so I don't know what I missing....

I'm trying to download this game and every time I hit the play button, it acts like its going to play the game and then it makes a sound before a menu comes on and then goes back to steam like nothing happen and no error, no nothing. Help please? (The sound that it makes is like an error sound but no error menu comes up)
