Any kind of lead or manager in a group has the responsibility of checking the legality of all assets, that includes checking art sources. This is equally the fault of the "art team" and those receiving the art for the purpose of media showcasing.

You have no idea what kind of people are watching this right now, good luck further. At least you've (hopefully) learned a bit.

Damn, I have no idea what you guys eat or inhale or whatever. But you've done an absolutely fantastic job. Just looking at the stuff you've all added is so great, and looking at the work behind it, from animations to scripts is extremely interesting and very VERY educational. Thanks a ton for making this guys, it's really showing the UE3 community that UE3 mods are around and fantastic.

We want to go for a hyper realistic style. And the models already have shaders applied to them in the form of specular and normal maps. but they will be fine tuned when we get other things done to make them look better in game. Thanks for the suggestion though :)

The finished ingame one is around the 10k spot and will have normals and ao maps baked from this hi poly mesh, so it will look identical :)

Gave the Alpha a whirl, really good work for an alpha!

It had an eerie feel, the guns felt solid and the creatures were creepy, unfortunately the mod crashed when I reached the first encounter with the armed soldier folk.

Bug's:
Some of the glow sticks don't emit light properly.
Bullet hole decals don't show up on living enemies.
Rather bad FPS hit when looking in certain directions (level optimizations and maybe cutting the levels into smaller parts could fix this)
Tripwires not working properly sometimes.

Pro's:
Great atmosphere
Excellent voiceacting
inventive weapon(s)
Good textures and models

Con's:
The levels are rather empty, getting some more props and debris in should solve this, although it might hit the fps badly, but this could be solved by splitting the one level into several more.
Custom animations, I'm not sure if the current ones are placeholders only ,but getting some custom animations in will definitively remove the half life ness of the mod.
Tweaking the run animation a bit, it's a little to strong and starts out slowly, look at the one in CoD 4 and compare.

Suggestions:
I found myself pushing larger physics objects infront of entrances and doors to block out enemies and stand on, maybe this could be explored on further with a drag function?
More ambient sound, it really adds tensity to the game when you hear things like people walking above you, wind, creaks and the like.
More level clutter( as mentioned)

I saw pictures from your level over at Game-artist and fell in love with them. The backstory sounds very promising and the design and feel you have going is really atmospheric. Definitively a mod I will keep an eye on, great work so far guys! Hope a talented character artist joins your group and sticks with the feel you've presented so far :)

That's a nasty error on Epic's part, but a 2.1 patch is coming out within the next week I think, that might fix it, good luck anyway!

That's very odd..
Try reinstalling the game (take backup of custom maps and such first ;))
The install the 2.0 patch
and finally install the Titan Pack.
Make sure you download new copies of the 2.0 patch and the Titan pack, just to be sure that everything is uncorrupted :)

If that doesn't solve it, ask in the Epic Games UT3 forum, they should be able to help.

It should work on both, we're not using any scripts or features that are specific to the titan pack or Patch 2.0. We will of course test things out before release :)

A fully functional companion AI might be a little out of our reach but if time allows it and we get a proper understanding we might consider doing it. For now though it is strictly 2 player only

Thanks for the offer :) But as of now we have not decided if we are going to use voices or text. The mod will also be in English, the only thing Norwegian about it is us; the guys making it :P
