Hi, I'm Cody, I primarily make mods for Crusader Kings 2, mostly mechanics. I'm currently co-oping on the Middle Earth Project mod. I have some mods for Europa Universalis 4 and Hearts of Iron 4 as well. I also dabble in mods for many other games. I write some, it's what I'm most proud of really. I have several fantasy-adventure books I've co-authored available in the World of Goshen, lead-writer of Goshen Sagas: Gawei Romance and Goshen Sagas: A Tale of Intrigue and Reconnaissance. Dropbox.com agot specific file. replace common/objectives/00_focuses.txt with this or create an agot specific copy with this in it if you don't want to switch out for vanilla and agot play.

Thank you and all the others that enjoy, or atleast tolerated, the mod. Yea we've become decent friends over the development and help each other with stuff.

TSF is involved with many other mods such as 7 Kingdoms and the DnD Faerun mods, he also said he plans to join up with the lotr mod for ck3, assuming it's possible once released(I've got fears for that personally after Imperator release)

We do really hope you all had some enjoyment from our work on this one and it does hit us hard we had to come to the decision of ending it after all the time and work we invested.

Getting repetitive here, but thank you all again for all your support for both the mod and us as devs.

yea, unfortunately team members fell off to various problems until it was just tsf and me left and required work we're not capable of finishing. We kept feeling low for failing you all time and again in our attempts at the overhaul and finally just had to call it. We had huge hopes and did alot of work, fixed major stuff like the stack overflow crash, but just were incapable of what the mod really needs at this point.

Maybe some more talented people can pick it up and make it what it could be some day.

each version is improved, if only slightly, over the last. But there's only so much we can do with the error checking we have, crashes in particular are encrypted so only paradox could diagnose the reports and they want nothing to do with mods.

will work on some of these, the farms thing's not a bug, they have improved income to compensate.
We don't really use the forums anymore, main focus is now the discord.

try playing before 9999 as the game doesn't like the later dates. As stated elsewhere, not much can be done about crashing when we don't kn ow what's causing it unfortunately.

we removed most of both,believe there's actually less than vanilla now. Events in the mod should be about as error free as report tools allow us to make them.

not really big on leaning on vanilla since most stuff we can develop our own things for and save on the headaches of update maintenance, plus it'll be all our own and so can take pride in it.

Though we'll probably eventually convert rhun to nomads.

there's the old kingdoms objectives, one of which is to reform the uni5ed kingdom as either gondor or arnor.

new date will start at the awakening of the elves, with 1:1 year ratios, so only character's with screwy ages will be the gods. And we might just remove them outright since they never really do anything within the mod.

well it's not really the expansions causing problems, tbh most of our biggest problems have been bugs in ck2 that the mod brings out, like the post 10k date issues, stuff that was noticeably causing instability and confirmable by the maxed tech bug. All we can really do is try to work around such bugs, which we are with the history overhaul we're working on that will shrink the timeline to 9999 years rather than 16000 years.

random crashes are going to happen, we don't have much in the way of diagnose them and paradox doesnt seem interested in providing tools to do so. So have to hope random bugfixing and the history overhaul corrects the issues. You should be able to load older saves to bypass many random crashes and playing before 9999 is more stable, probably dont use dlc as we don't implement vanilla code much.
