So is open SP no story

Kan i activate this after i have played crossfire and deactivate the mod and reaactivate it and will it still work

How does the patch work? Can i deactivate crossfire and reactivat it and will it still work? Is the patch necessary for the nwe SP story. I acdivated the mod and setup the normal SP and i didnt get the new story how i get it or does it go later on?i have already played it once can i acctivate the patch and will it still work? please swat help
