I am an idealistic guy currently working on the Tiberium Eclipse mod mainly as a writer. I work on the base story and will write many dialogues you will see in the campaign. This is my last post on the matter. Under you - all projects go to waist, I certainly didn't want that to happen to TEc seeing of it's past, so if a new generation of modders comes forward to us, we will pass the project on. Its final.

For God sake Jist, can you just for one time shut the hell up. "there should be another name in there somewhere between JPNYT ans Shriken" Oh I'm sorry, but I only added leaders into the list, not people who screwed around and were highly proclaimed "idea men" as a job title. You made the team quarrel in between themselves, not to mention about not being able to do anything productive. The assets are scattered, but that is because of how the team was, as I mentioned a sinking ship with people going in and out.

The only reason why assets got into TS, was because I talked to seth personally and since he was a member of our team as well, he asked for permission to use his own creations in his mod, other than that there was only some discussion and nothing more.

And can you get even more bloody pathetic? Advertising on a dying mod page? Sick. All you cause is trouble and negative feedback. At least have some sense of shame. But sadly you never change and never learn from your mistakes. Same as always Jist, same as in TEc.

Well we do not want to go around throwing out stuff on people. But if the modders will be interested, we will gladly give them what they want if the artist himself who created it agrees :)

As I said in the post, they will be open to certain people with permission. So if the modders will contact us and the artist who made them, or we would do it ourselves, we can allow the usage of them. Trust me, we don't want to see our work die as well.

this mod is not dying. It is on hold. People have work/finals/exams to attend to which are rather more important than the mod stuff at the moment. Yes, not much has been done lately, but the mod is still underway and we will be hard at work during the summer. Members are still as motivated and shall continue their work soon. Probably starting from the end of this month, since for most it is the busiest month of the year.

all I can say, make sure the personality cores accurately depict a certain personality type. Like it's plain to see and understand from first few words and behavioral patterns in the original games. That was one thing that bugged me a bit. The personality core that wakes you up doesn't seem to be defined enough. He appears to be similar to Wheatley, but having a same ( or similar ) personality core would be boring :/ You have nearly endless potential with the core idea. Work on it. As much interaction with them could make this game and give it the narrative it needs. Portal 1 -Glados Portal 2 - Wheatley, Glados and prerecorded messages. And here, mainly cores, but I somehow feel that's what you have planned :D But in any case, careful with character development. It has to be defined to the max. Cheers

Now there is some feed back I have. the introduction-phenomenal, one bug though, but only a because I am a perfectionist, when the plug falls, the wire goes down through the floor. But other than that The introduction was great, you are not filled in enough about your character which is great and leaves a lot for character development in the future. Only thing is, I suggest not to base the whole mod on this puzzle idea. mix it with some classic portal kind of puzzles which I think would work well together in a test chamber. The HUD could use some improvement, but some Photoshop can do wonders, It doesn't look bad for a demo. Finally, the main chamber where you do the puzzle, the circular thing surrounding the squares could use some monitors or something like that, making it look like its plugged into the mainframe. If you need an extra hand at writing/design ideas I could help out. I'm not much of a designer, but I can do writing and story well, if you need someone to help out of course. Great job so far :)

War factory-yes I would agree

Powerplant - well it does have a lot of detail, but it was never a bad thing Oo Texturing will give it a new look

Comm center - animated it will rotated a bit, and tilt to the side etc, and texturing will make it look better. The arm part, yeah maybe it would need some edits. Well this is my opinion :D

Like I mentioned before TCN still is an interesting topic. For the alliance, personally, I think it isn't a good idea, so we will see. Separate endings? Like I said, it would take a lot of extra resources, but I like the idea. Well I'll point this out in the next team meeting, see what everyone think.

well it is still untextured and not animated, but the main radar dish will be more lively when given those things. Might still undergo some changes too.

Erm TCN is a big topic for us right now, vein hole monster is more of a gameplay thing. GDI, Scrin and Nod indeed will be major factions, but focus stays on GDI and Nod first, when we release the demo, it will be mostly GDI and Nod stuff, maybe, no promises, scrin. Idris corporation got scraped as a faction, but you never know what might happen. Currently planned extra factions: Cabal, the forgotten. Cabal getting primary focus after the Scrin, Nod and GDI release.
Kane is an alien, too many facts dating before CnC4 to support that theory. Murdering able - I interpret that in a different form, maybe able was also an alien?... But that is speculation and doesn't matter. Kane is an alien, it is a fact, because he is immortal and has knowledge surpassing human understanding. As for each separate ending - not a bad idea, but we are not a big developer, we will try to manage as best as we can. All I can say is that it would be really hard to make this idea come true just due to the immense amounts of work it would require which isn't really that necessary, but you never know what future holds.
