How does this light bounce work?
The most incredible Unreal map I've played.
I feel like you should join up with Half-Life 2 RTX team.
It's impressive work indeed.
You gotta press precisely on a button.
Version 1.2 is very enjoyable and it appears to me that the maps get progressively more beautiful. I started taking screenshots after Construction Site.
It's a mod to look forward to! Promising stuff
I appreciate your lengthy reply because it gave me the idea to cap the framerate. It does reduce stuttering so long as there isn't a checkpoint. However, 30 fps doesn't feel that good to me so I'm experimenting with 48 at the moment.
Good job on the lighting!
I'm following. The description is tantalizing.
How come that command "cl_fov" doesn't work in this mod?
I'm not fully content with this shader due to its screen-space nature but judging by the screenshot, it does this game a lot of good. I try to inject ambient occlusion in my older games whenever I can these days. Everything looks less flat with it.
Funny that you would said that! Me, I'm unable to enjoy the blasterfights* without my modified version of Hardcore Mode. Moddb.com
Hey, I really like the effect for lightsaber cuts! (When saber hits NPCs) While the mod is not entirely compatible with Jedi Academy it does work fine for the most part. That said, it is this very effect that is among the things that don't work.
How do you suggest I go on to ensure compatibility in Jedi Academy? (I know how to repack pk3s and I got a functional EffectsEd if need be.)
Beautiful TOD. I'm going to retest this mod.
Is there a specific procedure to make PK3 packs? I have to edit a few things in the .cfg since you left a few NPCs untouched. When I repack ext_data, it simply doesn't work in-game.
Edit: Aaahhh... Archive Format has to be ZIP! / By the way, thanks for making this mod. The gunplay has always been very stale in the normal game. Plus now I know how to edit NPCs. :) I'll probably do the same in Jedi Academy.
However, there are plenty of high-res nanosuits already. 'Nanosuit Ultra Classic' and Chicken's both look great.
Hi,
I would like to understand why JKGFX is so demanding. I have a GTX 770 4GB and the game is installed on a SSD. I can't say it's running smoothly. In theory, it shouldn't perform worse than Crysis or Unreal (with the DX11 renderer).
Is it going to be further optimized? / Edit: It's not so much that the framerate is bad, it just stutters a lot.
I came here just to read this. I'm playing on High (3rd difficulty) and the armor is stuck at 100%.
Edit: It sorted itself out when I received grenade damage.
Great! That did the trick. Thank you.
Thank you for uploading this. This was my go-to back in the days. ;) I appreciate the TOD a lot.
I'm on a clean install and I'm using the latest JkGfx (v0339). The upscaled textures and transparency alphas did not work properly until I ran inject.exe as administrator! So thanks for making me think about that!
Man... Thank you so much! :O
It had become pretty confusing indeed.
