im having alot of fps issues...ive tried to troubleshoot every which way on my end and ive run out of ideas without decompiling something and i dont want to do that.
can anyone think of an issue other than graphics or processing power that would be causing this? all i can think of is gentool but its never done this with other mods, not contra, ROTR, or TeoD. plz halp i dont wanna break if before i fix it

we need rockets because lasers dont scare people, explosives go boom and people run. a laser will set something on fire and some will run but most wil put it out. now if can fit a 50GW pulse laser apparatus on an apache and flash boil the water in people, then they enemy will become the explosives, and the people...they will run, and my lust for big booms shall be sated once more.
don't know if you will see this brother but i think there is an existing ai you can tweak for the different ships if you so desire. there is a gla patrol boat ai for vanilla. gonna have to dig to find it i just know there is a mission with an ai controlled ship
there was one mod i was watching in the past that died with the rona...they handled massive scall by making all the units (whilst highly detailed) smaller. that way i think that we can make the SCALE we wanted in tibsun. one or two big fuckoff brickbois with dozens of tanks and hundreds of infantry storming an enemy gun line becuase DAMNED IF I AINT USING WW1 TACTICS IN MY DARK SCI FI RTS!!! NO I DONT CARE IF ITS A WAR CRIME REGGIE, ONLY LOSERS COMMIT THOSE!!!

i have one question...how will the weather systems and overall SCALE of tibsun get dealt with. i dont see an easy way to do it.
thats one of the things i think has held them up so much is working the different tiberian systems in, dynamic growth of fields for one. vein hole monsters, randomly spawning flora/fauna, The Forgotten, the list goes on.
I have attempted to reach out to the past mod authors for these as well, they are dark on the web and have been for ages as far as i can tell. this is an excellent idea and the mod as it is works (albeit barely).
This is a pain in the *** to do, s'why i cant be ****** to mod publicly. i applaude the public modder for taking all the **** they do. this being said, the sheer amount of hate this fine gentleman is getting for this is inexcusable and not necessary. its not disrespect when you are trying to breathe life back into something that died a long time ago. I would call it passion and flattery. The original two mods got shut down by legal **** and then abandoned. I think if someone were to bring them back and they actually turn into something, this could bring some of us older folks on here some hope for our old hopes from the back when times.
I honestly hope you do boss, i really do. I watched the star wars and warhammer mods die. if you not only bring them back but make them better, **** lemme stand at front of the line of your donors. I for one hope that you finish these out,they dont need much really other than some ai and model work.

an even better thought would be to play as one of the big factions or even as a united japan and invade the US before the turn of the 20th century.

also heard you mention COH and i wonder if you can make fireteams a thing instead of individual soldiers...i think they would make more sense with the infantry that way.

fair enough, most of my post was just exposition and thoughts. I know noone said anything about a game breaking bug. the mod isnt in a place where you are okay with a release yet, and that is fine.
was trying to provide a perspective that people might be able to see from and quit hounding you guys so we can get the best work at YOUR pace, not ours.
Stop asking when the mod will be released. I tried my hand at this **** recently and holy crap is it a pain in the ***. reasons why I prefer modeling and animation and not fuggin coding. this stuff takes forever and HEAVEN FORBID SOMETHING BREAKS...then its three weeks of searching for the broken bracket or the missing statment. Takes awhile, especially when we're dealing with something incredibly ambitious like this. be patient and leave this to folks who are FAR smarter than we are, trust me, the wait will be worth it.

i love watching this mod grow more and more every year. It appears to my untrained eye to be in a playable state but for all i know there may be a bug or multiple bugs the render the mods useless due to crashes or graphical artifacts that render it unplayable. it just happened to me after i selected the chinooks with the rangers in them, or at least there were supposed to be rangers in them, they had none
EDIT: the chinooks are the problem, also there is a slight hiccup when selecting some units like the paladin tank and avenger
if it will soothe your delicate sensibilities EAGLE, think of it as a trophy system and the blue bubble is the commanders eye view of the range of the system
either that or i believe it is spinal armor reinforcement
those spines are radiators for the upgunning and modernization of the craft and the current heat mitigation systems were insufficient

just a thought my good man. this is something i have only seen the corona mod do. is there any way that you can arm naval units with secondary batteries and PD systems? i think it would make the navies much more fun
