Revisiting some of old games (Again!) to remember the awesomeness, the badasserry and wicked difficulty of the gameplay of old school games (Stone Ages Era?). Decades passed, as a gamer, passing through different ages of games, watching 'em evolved from console to console, gameplay and graphic changing, many things ... in every kind of genre.
Take "Jackal" as an example. One jeep owned everything. Remember ten or more people could fit in one tiny jeep? Blasting huge helicopter, or mass of tanks with just "hand grenades"? Now that's surely what I called badass. In Jackal, believe in only your jeep. Damn, I did worst playing this game. Just wondered why I could play better when I was a kid. Age does matter? Who knows.
During my "journey" I still remembered clearly some of soundtrack, the crazyness of few games when playing with siblings or buddies long time ago. One touch death penalty in few games. Even still remembered how one player could "steal" other player "lives". As 90's era kid, things like these were pretty common (NES era). Now let's imagine if you can do some sh*t like that in latest game!
A remix from Donkey Kong (SNES) soundtrack named "Fear Factory". Quite old, isn't it? I guessed SNES owners still remembered this game was one of hardest SNES game. One more thing is "one touch death penalty effect" I couldn't finish this game when I was a kid. Finally I finished few months ago, owwh. The reason I put it here (the music) because it rocks. I hate those Kremlings, though. Well then, Autobot Banana freakz, lezz roll out!!
Boss Stage soundtrack from The King of Fighters 1998. A one-eyed martial art maniac which is so obsessed to become the most powerful of all, Rugal Bernstein (98' Omega Version). Yeah. Delivering "Genocide Cutta" since 1994, with pleasure. Afterall, a good fighting game (Arcade and PSX version). Missed the old times when hanging out often in arcade center with classmate. "INSERT COIN! INSERT COIN GODDAMMIT!!"
Maybe you would think it is quite random for me to put few game gameplays and soundtracks in one place. Random things fit for random person eh?. Just kidding, sir. Like I mentioned before, it was just for revisiting the old games' awesomeness. Well, ladies and gentlemen. Thanks for wasting your time.
