Do we know if there is a way to make companion trading not only to the companion but back to us free? A lot of the items are already free but the weapons especially, at higher conditions cost money to take back. Is there a file to modify somewhere to change this?

I suppose my walking talking backpack stalker could always "sacrifice themselves" to the zone near my car :D

I'm gonna have to recommend anyone coming here for up to date OGSR instead visit Moddb.com as it is the most up to date (as of now) release.

Additionally the mod compiler (boredgunner) has been absent from replying to issues with this mod for over a year now despite being active elsewhere on moddb so It would seem this is abandoned and will not be updated/fixed.

Is that true though? Titanium and Stainless steel let you choose from MULTIPLE fan-made CAIs that improve the campaign AI.

For example, in my save, I have a hard time conquering Scotland because they intelligently stack units in towns and castles and only go on the offensive if I don't have a large army presence.

Last time I checked these CAIs were open-sourced to modders!

I think it would be cool if all the maps had actual screenshots--having to load into every map to see what it looks like is a pain when so many use generic LOTR screenshots.

AFAIK there isn't a map preview system for this mod, whether in a guide or in video form so it's just a pain to try anything not typical...

I tried some Instant Action and all of the factions only have like 5ish units selectable, including point unlocks. Is this a hardcoded limit? Im assuming all these new units are map dependant maybe?

system.cfg is not compatible with Tactical Expansion. Personally, I think playing without TE is a lesser experience. Also, your version disables Reshade from working. Everything else from the mod works fine.

Would be cool to have a version that doesn't disable Reshade and crash TE.

Yes, put Game folder and autoexec from this into tactical folder, nothing overwrites so they work flawlessly. H in game for settings and you can always delete the files in tactical to make both mods separate again.

Since people don't read, you DO have to start tactical with a shortcut, NOT ingame in case people say it doesn't work.

You know what, I think that might almost be -objectively- better. If you've ever messed with Sikkmod it has a bind for a mounted flashlight and that light is perfect because it only lights up a small area and has no projection beam, maintaining the horror atmosphere even with weapons equipped.

SO I went and extracted that file but it's still busted looking. Even tried editing the TGA opacity and that still didn't help. Something must be hardcoded in to make that flashlight spread look so ugly and out of place (It's just way too bright).

My god the flashlight is HIDEOUS. It's just a static 2D texture that spins in circles and takes up half the screen. Is there no fix for this? Basically renders this mod unplayable which would suck because everything else is must-have.

I wrote out a real long comment then accidently hit cancel instead of save. (what website puts cancel first then save?!)

Anyways, you can just mute the game in post like every other youtuber does.

Expecting a content creator to release their content for FREE and tailor made for YOUR usage is selfish and unrealistic.
