Hey! Found a Bug:

Capital Ship combat almost immediately crashes the game (Hardlock with last 5-10s of sound looping) but only when Capital Ships (in this case a Xenon Q versus 2 Nebulon-B but also tried 2 Neb-Bs & Venator against Remnant Resurgent Class Stardestroyer earlier) fight one another.
Pirate Bases, Corvettes and Fighters seem to be fine as targets.

Edit: This is for In-System Combat. OOS seems to be fine!

YES Thank you! That is the absolute best, everytime I start the game I just have to wait and sit there until the Imperial ships come in.

I just need to know... which Version of the Main Theme is used in the Main Menu? :D

I would say they are equally stronger in the Prime Timeline... it's just that all major conflicts have been averted in some manner (Organians for example).
Just look how it went when they got into a brief war right before the Dominion War, the Federation was hard pressed for Defense against the Klingon Onslaught and even then it wasn't the full might of the Empire.

I actually like the geometrical icons although I would have wished for them to be at least somewhat ship specific and not just class specific, while it makes them harder for the enemy to target specific ships it also makes them harder for myself to find my stuff :D

Oh my gosh... I am so sorry!

Mhm... I like the artistic approach to it but it actually looks so... empty, yeah I think that's the right word. It doesn't look massive, it doesn't look like it actually does propel something, also you can't really see it that much when zoomed out.

Probably would look better on Fighters or Corvettes/Frigates.
