I'm so so with this mod so far. The firearm and cannon sounds are nice, as are the more randomized unit firing. I also like that some artillery units can run (more of a slow gallop). I also like that I can finally dismount my general and put them in buildings. New factions to play as in campaign are fun additions, with many new units. Dragoons spreading ranks when getting ready to fire, probably more realistic but a bit annoying that you cannot turn on/off the formation. Not crazy about the classic music. It's different, and certainly fits the period, just seems like a missed opportunity for intense battle music. You guys don't profit off of this... who's suing for using copywritten tunes? I don't like that certain elements that were good in vanilla were removed, such as rank firing and grenades. If a new feature bugs old features, it probably shouldn't be implemented. I'd rather have rank firing than tighter more realistic formations.

My Main Issue though is bugs! I can't recruit units in any city but my main capital as Hanover and as Americans I can only recruit artillery and militia, no other units. This is a huge problem. Second, vanilla bugs like fort walls not being repairable would have been a nice fix. Also, it seems the broken land bridges weren't addressed. I'm more looking for a mod that fixes the issues with vanilla and while this does add a little makeup to vanilla and some new features, it also creates new issues and doesn't address some glaring old ones.

All that being said, I appreciate that the developers are still working on this game. It's several years old but still my favorite time period and I am glad there is still some new attention being paid to it. So thank you for that.

when I play this- it may be an older version, like 1.1.9b - hard to tell what version is being run. Anyway, when i play as Hanover, I can ONLY recruit units from my capital region, not others that are captured. It becomes more and more difficult to play a campaign with this limitation. Is it intended? Also, when I play as United States, I can ONLY recruit state militia from all of the regions, as well as 2 units of artillary- Even with buildings that show I have many more available.
