Tom Clancy games have good soundtracks, Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield was no exception. This piece of music is one of my all time favourites. I also love the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter soundtrack by Tom Salta.
I came across again it while listening to my usual playlist, which is just over 1,200 tracks. Just thought I'd share it. Composer is Bill Brown.
Your absolute right man. You hear this mans name around the "water cooler" whenever it comes to military themed soundtracks. Brown is a fantastic composer who really knows what works for this genre and in high demand ! ( Same goes for Salta, who's collaborated more than once with Brown ).He's been working on Ubisoft titles for a long time and the C-n-C series as well I believe.
God, I'd love to have their talents. Excellent track indeed !
Indeed. I'm noticing that game soundtracks are approaching feature film quality and with Zimmer working on Modern Warfare 2, it seems to be the trend.
It's a pity that most game soundtracks aren't released, because there are some real music gems.
