This mod is one of the best mods for Half-Life that I have ever laid eyes upon. ruMpel's idea and inspiration for both Afraid of Monsters and Cry of Fear have always never ceased to scare me and entertain me. The nightmare levels have a vivid feeling to them, just like if you were to explore your own mind. That's why I love the nightmare sequences, random and yet scarey, and it pulls me in to take in the detail of Simon's own hellish creations. I have to say that the 1st jumpscare of the game really got me, but now that I know where it is at, I play the 1st level over to scare my friends. Never gets old. I must say, the time spent, the attention to details and the amazingly new graphics to a old Goldsrc engine have greatly astonished me. I absolutely love everything about this game, I want to know all there is, this game intrigues me ever so greatly. ruMpel, if you are reading this, you would've made me the happiest man in the world, and also, I want to give you a standing ovation for such effort and time spent on such a masterpiece that we call a mod. I, Sandpaper Chef, salute you and your developer team. You are gifted with such abilities, it had astonished me when I read that you had released Afraid of Monsters when you were 14! You have some great potential in you, and with an ending word, I can say for you that, the sky is the limit!
