I am uploading the ALPHA build for the paladin rework as we speak, it is NOT complete yet. Spell descriptions, spell graphics, balance and spell completion need to be done.

But it has been almost a year since I updated, So I wanted to get feedback from those who wish to try an almost fully functional build of the upcoming paladin. All skills (except 1) are at 15 skill points and relatively balanced in how they should act once graphical/clerical parts are updated.

its not a movie file, computer just thinks it is. they moved to a MOD file ... you have to put it in the mods directory and then run the modlauncher

The mod doesn't use PAK files anymore, that was PRE-GUTS, now its a .MOD file, NOT a movie file. Put it into your torchlight2 mods folder and run the mod launcher.

and you can use ONLY the last patch, they are all full mod installs.

odd, never heard of this one, best bet will be to load the game in LAN and reroll the world, will put you back in town.

This is a very difficult fight in this patch, updating it with a lot of balance tweaks in the next patch.

MODDB gave this mod the 2013 editors choice: best overhaul award. If nothing else that would speak to the fact that the mod is likely well balanced and thought out. There are a billion changes and additions, all described in the description above.

god mode makes it so you can't die, I can take a level 1 into DF and not die with it. If you die with godmode on you didn't really have it on.

The RANGER has returned.. His skills will be fleshed out over the next bit as well as finishing stage 2 of DF and reworking the paladin.

You only have to download the last one, its always the full version. Although this last month I have been updating rather quickly with Tier1 coming out!

1) Patched Torchlight 2 to latest version.
2) Went into the SteamApps/Common/Torchlight 2 folder and deleted all .PAKs file I had there with the exception of the "Data" ones. (thus made sure there was no synergies installed).
3) Once I did that, I double clicked on the Torchlight 2 shortcut in my deskstop, and the Launcher menu came up, there's 2 options Play Torchlight 2 (without Mods) or Manage your Mods and than Play after. I first launched the game "without" mods, so just clicked the little Play Button.
4) Once inside Menu Screen, this is important, don't try to start a game or load your character (it's still there from, don't worry), just simply exit out of the game now.
5) Once exited, you should see 2 new folders in your My Documents/My Games/Runic Games/Torchlight 2 area. "modsave" and "mods".
6) Simply copy, or my case "cut" (since you don't need synergy type chars in your vanilla save file) the folder labeled with all the numbers in the "save" folder to the "modsave" folder instead.
7) Once done, then go ahead and download SynergiesMod 2.006 from the site, when you open it you should see one file, a .mod file.
8. Extract SynergiesMod to your new "mods" folder in your my documents.
9) Launch Game, but this time click on the other option to manage your mods, your SynergiesMods should be shown on the left side, just select it, and it should move over the to right side as "active".
10)Once done, simply launch the game bottom Right Corner of that same mod manager window that says "Launch with Mods" (note you'll have to do this to play with Synergies, if you just click on the "Play Torchlight 2" outside of the manage Mod window, than vanilla T2 will run instead.

you can follow this:

Put the folder of the mod into Documents\my games\runic games\torchlight 2\mods and then launch ModLauncher.exe from the Torchlight 2 game folder, activate the mod and run Torchlight 2.

Its not really a movie file, its just the weird extension they chose to use.

you have to put it into your mod folder at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Torchlight II\mods

and then run the launcher and it will find it. you don't do anything with the mod file itself.

Its a timing thing. The Netherlord is the final fight in that section of DF. What type of character do you play, and is it truly optimized in gear? I can finish him on 3 of my finalized characters after about 4 waves, but its almost impossible on ungeared characters. Its meant to be this way. Tier1 gear will be coming pretty soon, which will make this all easier!

Hey tony, you can get to it from the Or'ak basin. Go as far to the NORTHWEST (top left) as you can, past the graveyard, and out over the bridges. Kill the ancient troll there and a portal will open up.

There is a way point within DF now so you only have to do this once.

With this fight complete the player gains the 9th and final key, transmuting the last 3 into the third Golden key!

With all three golden keys the player transmutes them into the Thrice Pronged golden key!

The player can now finally Open the Thrice locked chest! Within the player will find 1 uncut Soulstone, 1 Angelic Soul, and 1 random Soulstone.

The uncut Soulstone can be combined with the players choice of Soulstone Catalysts to create any 1 Soulstone they desire.

The Soulstones themselves can be combined with a angelic soul and infused for use within the Embersteps Soulforges!

Each Soulforge will enchant any tier1 armor piece with a 6% bonus towards whichever Soulforge was used.

Let the tier1 Soulcrafting begin!
