Of course the armor will reduce the endurance. Right now I'm playing as sniper and use the clear sky armor from nimble.

Ok I guess I will wait a bit. Having to go out and slaughter everyone for gear kind of ruins the immersion imo.

So should I wait for the patch before starting this mod? From reading some of these comments I'm tempted to wait. Would be great to also have some kind of guide or feature list.

Sure it got delayed a bit but the devs really kept us up to date with the development unlike SOME other mods. If someone puts up a torrent I will seed.

Yeah some of the Russian mods have female stalkers.

There was a zombie scientist in "Secret Trails 2" mod that I have been playing.

It's unfair to have both single player games and multi-player games in that ranking.

It's got great graphics and atmosphere but I find the on rails gameplay kind of boring. No real replay value either. Even the "hardcore mode" is **** easy, and you had to pay for it with Last Light!

Really looking forward to it, although it don't change the storyline or add any new quests and so on.

I have hundreds of hours vested in those games and that is without mods.

You know the best thing about STALKER is the re playability with mods and so on. I can't think of any single player game that I have played for 6 years straight.

@ The_Doctor. Yes, MISERY looks awesome but it's still the same maps and storyline. LA is something entirely new and can't really be compared to other mods. My main concern is how well the business end goes with GSC.

Very nice. Looks like dead city, been exploring it in Secret Trails mod for SoC.

@ Cliffmonkey The biggest hurdle as always is going to be the business/financial end between GSC and Dezowave.

DayZ is a multiplayer game. CoP/Misery is single player. Totally different games for different audiences.

Nice! But I hope the mod makes the zone a little more livelier with more spawns and so on. Having all these features would be a waste with an empty map.

Oblivion Lost was a little too silly imo.

Second point #2. I just started "Secret Trails 2" for SoC myself.

#3 GSC took a huge risk by making the game as it was. They could of easily made it another lame on-rails shooter.

This is a pretty ambitious project done by a small group of modders in their spare time. It would amaze me if they did get it out by June.

Probably not in LA. Although I have heard there are some mods that feature that.

R3 render would make it look amazing. Although nowadays I'm more interested in quality story/content than graphics. FC3 had nice graphics but not much replay value.

It seems like it's long past the mod stage and now a full stand alone game.

It's great how thick the vegetation is in these screenshots. Really adds to the realism. It looks a lot like the old school screenshots from the older builds.

It's what Stalker should of been.
