Time? Coming from a man whose name is time itself?

No, but anywho, it's winter again. Some people say winter makes them depressed because of all the snow and cold, but hell, I don't see why. I like the cold weather. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be out in some sunny place right now but snow has turned into a traditon...tradition?...I guess you could call it that. But anywho, hope everyone has a great Christmas and a sweet 2011. We'll see what happens this year. Should be interesting.

As for Moddb and Desura in 2011, I'm sticking with Neotokyo, and I'll be supporting them every year (Unless I leave Moddb for some obscure reason) in the Mod of the Year contest.

On a side note, I'm thinking of making a website or maybe a Moddb group here and slapping some fancy logo and a fancy name on it and calling it my own. It's about time I contributed to Moddb, instead of just lounging around, checking things out!

Frankly, getting straight to the point here, I love it.

But.

IT USES TOO MUCH GODDAMN RAM!

120k to be exact.

I was really hoping for it to stay in Steam RAM area, which generally for me is around 36k, which I can fully understand. But Desura is like a dumptruck full of RAM. Without Desura running, I could be only using 30% of my RAM, but with it running at a blasting 113-120k, it's clogging up a lot of stuff. Would love to see this get fixed, and it's my only rant about Desura. Otherwise, it's great. It's an indie version of Steam, and thats why I love it.

It's that sexy.
