im confused it let me install it to hl2 not ep 2? and textures and modles are glitchy. why did it let me install if it wouldnt work?

HELP I DOWNLOADED (AND INSTALLED) this mod and the toxic waste texture and all eye textures are messed up it didnt load the correctly and i dount know what to do if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.
(and i am verifying the files if that doesnt work then i dont know what else to do)
