Is this announcement of Warcraft 3 reforged going to discourage updating the extended edition mod?

I am probably going to wait until reforged is out before any major updates, but will try to release more maps that support the mod by the end of the year.

Hey I noticed you announced a likely update for the Warcraft 3 extended edition mod a while back; I was wondering as to whether you had given up on the project or if you simply haven't had time to work on it... If its the latter... Well I'll be patiently waiting! Really like it man.

Its the latter one. I will hopefully be able to work on it during the summer. Even if I updated it by now, I would need to make version that works with the 1,29 patch.

Hey are you planning on working on the warcraft 3 extended edition mod anytime soon? I'd just like to know because it's my favorite mod for the game despite it's pretty early (I guess that is a good word for it?) form.

I am planning to release an update during February. It is one of three mods I work on, so that's the reason I haven't updated it for a while.
