I'm really enjoying this mod. The AI is pretty good and continually keeps up the pressure. I get crashes to desktop though when playing the game :(

Usually around halfway thru a large 8 player battle. This last time I got an error message for it.

I have installed fresh and have 1.06 BFME2 and 2.01 RotWK with just edain 4.53.

Anyone with a fix please? I'm loving this mod but without autosave I lose so much if I forget to save constantly. Are in game crashes a recurring problem in this mod or just me?

I'm gonna try running compatibility with Windows XP SP3 and administrator on the shortcut.

It was all the heroes I had like Aragorn, Gandolf, the two brothers, and even my create a hero. Had them all grouped and none would attack certain enemies. It was rare and might of been the created enemies when game starts. They would all just stand around and cheer. But they could attack other enemies around.

Some of my problems cleared up for some reason on the same 6 person map. I had forgotten to update BFME2 to 1.06 when I reinstalled everything (not sure that made a diff). Then I did 4x command points, brutal AI's, and 50% production rate on all AI's.. I was allied with elves and dwarves again and elves built an impressive stronghold. I think they just didn't have time to build it before getting destroyed before. All the factions this time had huge strongholds and I was killed off first. They even kept going onto dwarves stronghold but there capital is so tough. They have like 6 to 10 catapults and hardly denting the side towers. The elves though are doing nothing after building there base. Just letting dwarves be destroyed. Love the elven base though fully built with ent structures and towers all around the base.

Hi, I've been trying the mod out but have an issue.

I installed the mod originally over my already modded game w/2.02 and I had the map zoom out working in the maps but I decided to reinstall WotWK from scratch and just install this mod on 2.01 but now the maps are as original with no way of zooming out farther.

The Mordor AI and Dwarves AI do a really good job with there bases but they after about 20 minutes into the game they stopped attacking and just sat in there bases. Mordor had a huge army just camping in the base defending. I wiped out half the base and they rebuilt all the towers quick and army but never attacked with army. Dwarves didn't have much army and just stopped doing anything.

I've always had that issue with WotWK AI though. Late game they just lose there interest in attacking and camp for some reason. I hope your still working on the AI's .

Elves never seem to do much. They build 2 treant early and like 6 farms and that's about it. They usually will get wiped out early or sometimes they wipe out another one pretty early. Hope your still working on fixing AI for all the factions.

I have a really wierd issue with attacking sometimes with my heroes. They just stand there cheering as the enemy attacks them even if i tell them to attack it manually. Nothing affects that enemy either like Elendil to scare them off.

It's amazing the amount of changes you've done with the game. Nice job.

I'm stuck on The Viking Invasion, The Raven Banner #3 mission. Seems impossible to me. I start with a few archers and pikemen and 2 swordsman while they come within minutes with armies that repeats again as soon as the other ends. I die within a few minutes. I don't see how to get any stone, iron, food let alone make more troops.

I've searched around internet but can't find any guides, walkthru's or let's plays for Stronghold europe mod.

Anyone have any suggestions? Is there an active forum for this mod?

Also the install instructions say that this mod shouldn't interfere with Crusader HD original game exe's but I installed fresh and then installed this mod and none of the original exe will launch. They all crash with error's upon launch. I had like 30 files I had to overwrite with this mod as well but I thought I read it shouldn't need to overwrite anything.

I played thru entire Stronghold: The Prequel so I'm pretty sure I installed it correctly.

Use an earlier version of HD Mod. I'm using RC 50 and when I recently tried to update to the latest version I also received the same errors as you.

Has the butcher quest been removed? I'm not seeing the guy near cathedral that starts quest and at lvl 6 now and there was no butcher room?

I only play in single player mode. Is there a way you can add shared stash between characters?

I like the QoL improvements. Especially increased inventory space (would even like a few tabs at top for more :), and huge stash.

Mini minimap in left corner is perfect and toggled highlighting of everything that is interactive is good too along with auto pickup.

Having alot of fun with this. Well done.

Ran into what I think is a bug. But was funny. My Necromancer with Expert necromancy turned zombies I was fighting into peasants. I had army full with all knight troops including peasants.

Hope HD mod adds troop and artifact transfer functionality for Era sometime. I really miss those.

Is the button that Hota has on quick combat results screen where you can choose to fight manually if you don't like the quick combat results part of HD mod or would that be sometime this mod could add semi easily?

Saves alot of time and makes the quick combat option alot more useful.

War of the ring and single skirmishes work fine with sound/speech and music but campaign for some reason doesn't have music or speech/fx sounds from units. Campaign sounds work without the mod files.

After I got to the 2nd mission the sounds started working in campaign.

Is the bad repack something I can fix?

A bug in the campaign where you have to find the Hammerer's Gauntlets from Orc to exchange for key. They don't drop now and I found something a really strong item instead with no name but fits in ring slot.

Dmg+70%, Defense against any weapon +5 and Health Regen +20 with Movement speed -15%.

Problem is you need those gloves to exchange for key otherwise you have to pay 2,000 gold instead in the artifact master tent.

Artifact Master tent seem to drop randomly from creatures when they are killed sometimes blocking paths and I have to reload till I can arrange it so it won't block the way. I've never played the game before but I guess that's a bug with this patch?

Not sure if this will help but what version of Warband are you using? I think it needs atleast 1.168 or greater.

I've played it on 1.168 & 1.172 without loading problems. Maybe your download is corrupt? Just installed a 1.172 clean and put this mod in modules folder and worked fine.

Great mod. Finished another game for 3.5 version but I'm getting alot of scrolling scripting errors in battles that I don't remember getting in v3.3.

Posted more details in the Taleworlds forum link from above. Anyone else get these scripting errors in battles? I'm using 1.172 of Warband.

Everything else was great and the factions did a good job initiating sieges on castles.

Is there a different hotkey now for Rallying troops? The manual still says 'v' but it's not working in 3.5 build with latest nightly.

Worked before for me in 3.3 awhile ago when I played.

Edit: Well as soon as I said this it started working for some reason. Maybe they didn't need rallied before when I was trying?

What version of MB is this for? I installed it on MB Warband 1.168.

It loads up fine but I have no idea how your suppose to cross the water and it seems neither does the npc's. The lords and caravan's are just stuck at the water's edge continually trying to cross.

Is there any way to add unlimited pages to the characters inventory like the stash currently is with buttons along the bottom to switch to different inventory page. I'm not really concerned with 'realism' in games as far as inventory is concerned kinda like the Gothic games were where u could pick up everything and never run out of space.

I have the problem with potions not stacking.. I don't see you mention that it's not working anywhere except for the one person in comments..

Is this feature actually working? I tried to edit the misc.txt file and noticed they weren't marked to be stackable but when i did mark them to stack.. they would stack but just disappear into each other and i'd be left with just the one potion instead of a stack of 2
