Thank you for your good words :)
The game has a bullet-time feature that is showcased in this video: Indiedb.com
I hope you could enjoy the video as well.
Thank you again for your comment and have a wonderful weekend! :3
Hi again L3d~
Do you mean all the things? XD
I figured that out an hour ago after I post my reply.
Anyways, have a relaxing and wonderful weekend as always! :)
I'm glad you're interested in the article.
It took me quite some time to figure out a way to deal with the artifact from post-process volume AO.
I figured it will be a good idea to document the process of how I solve the issue for future reference.
Thank you for your comment and have a good day! :D
Thank you for your comment~
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by all the strings, but I'm glad you love something about my article!
Thank you again for your interest! :D
Thank you for your interest and suggestions!
Your idea to add a physics adjustment option is very thoughtful, I'll make sure the breast and hip physic sliders are added in my development schedule. It shouldn't be too hard to implement.
Additional outfit is a request I get a lot from players, sadly, adding additional outfit means extra time spent on rigging the outfit in third-party software, as a programmer, it is not very cost-effective for me to do the task. I'll see what I can do about it, if I decided to add a new outfit in the future, I'll make sure to let you know. :)
Thank you again for your attention and wonderful suggestions, feel free to comment anytime! I'm really happy to see people care about my project :D
I wish you a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for your interest!
I usually update every week, feel free to visit this webpage (or click the watch button on the top right corner of the game's summary page) and enjoy the latest updated content!
Have a relaxing weekend. :)
Noita looks impressive graphically and technically speaking! :D
I'm glad you like my article, thank you for your support! :)
Although I cannot promise you anything, for now, I think it's very likely a demo will be released in the future.
I'm currently fine-tuning the tutorial level since up until now, the general consensus is that the game has a high learning curve and it's hard to proceed without a good tutorial lesson.
For players to fully enjoy and have a good gaming experience, I need to at least fix this problem before releasing a demo. The process of fine-tuning will involved a lot of back and forth between (a small group of) different indie-devs test play the game giving feedbacks and me identify and fix the underlying problem.
Since this is my first indie project, I honestly have no idea how long this process will take before the tutorial is good and solid, however, the feedbacks (from people who are entirely new to the game) are improving from the past 6 months, so I think the tutorial level is at least closer and closer to its final form.
I appreciate your interest and patience for the game, and I wish you a wonderful weekend :)
I'm glad you survived the long wall of text with only two images XD
Since it is near the end of November, I'll be attending the monthly meetup next week, I'm so excited! :D
It's nice to see you again!
This is the promotion video I submitted to the Taipei Game Show 2020 Indie House Expo.
The purpose of this video is to demonstrate the basic mechanics of 《Drifting》 so new audiences will have a better idea of what kind of gameplay they will be experiencing before walking into my booth.
I'm glad you enjoy the video and wish you a wonderful day! :)
Thank you for your interest! :D
It's always nice to see a new face around here~
If you like to automatically receive updates in the future, you can check the "Game Watch" button on the top right corner of the game's profile.
Have a nice weekend!
Thank you for your interest and support, the pleasure is all mine! :D
I usually update every weekend, so stay tuned for more updates in the future. :)
I didn't know you have an IndieDB account!
It's very nice to have you here! ^.^y
I know you're a busy person, so feel free to stop by anytime at your leisure.
Wish you a relaxing weekend!
My initial idea is to have all the moves interruptable with each other, but soon found out it is a task much more challenging then I thought due to various animation blending issues.
The second-best option for me is to have a "move cancel" feature (Much like something you'd be familiar with in fighting games or some action games).
Here is an explanation of the "shoot-cancel" mechanic I mentioned in my previous post:
Thank you for your interest and have a great weekend! :)
This is actually a request made by a community member at UE4 forum. A request I think greatly enhances the overall gaming experience.
Thank you for the good words and stay tuned for more updates~
Thank you for your good words.
Feel free to press the "Game Watch" checkbox on the top right corner to follow this project if you are interested in the game.
Have a productive day! :)
I've thought of using whip as her main weapon during the prototype phase, however, I lack the animation resource at the time.
It's probably a bit too late to add new weapon right now, however, I'll see what I can do for my next game.
Thank you for your interest >.0
I assure you it's nothing like that :P
Thank you for your interest in my article and I wish you a great weekend!
Thank you for your interest.
The game is currently still in development.
A demo version may be released if I feel the controls and tutorials are solid enough to give players a satisfactory experience.
Have a relaxing weekend! :)
I'm happy you enjoy the article!
The working pipeline for hair simulation is a topic I've been planning to write for a long time, I'm glad I can make it out this weekend.
Thank you for your good words and I wish you a productive day! :)
Thank you for your comment, I think you have a valid point.
The singularity is used mainly for solving puzzles in the game, I'll make sure the location of the singularity will not affect the difficulty in combat heavy areas.
Have a nice weekday :)
A very interesting way of making characters good work!
Thank you for your good words! I'm still tweaking the animation to make it press closer to the wall when sliding down, hopefully, I could get a better result next week.
Have a great weekend! :3
WaifuBattleRoyal sounds like an interesting game concept! XD
Thank you for your support, I'll keep on posting new content every weekend.
Have a nice day! By the way, Your avatar is very cute :3
Since most of the active accounts here are game devs, I figured some would be more interested in reading articles that share the technical side of game development.
I'm glad that you enjoy this week's update, wish you have a nice weekend! :)
I like how the blending between different animations felt natural and smooth. The overall level design complements the gameplay style and rhythm perfectly.
Thank you for your interest~
Have a wonderful weekend! :D
I'm happy to see you are interested in my game. Please feel free to comment or like on my weekly update content~
