Last night, I had an weird dream, which of I am not sure, if it is an nightmare or not. When I saw it, it appeared in warhammer40000 fluff (as the persons in it were straight out of it), though it could have been set on any other lore. Here, I will show it like an piece of an novel, and retaining the 40k fluff in it (even though it actually doesn't fit with the story)
'Colonel Zyklaeus walked towards blood raven captain Gabriel, questions in his mind. To west of him, a battle raged on, between the Blood Ravens and an warband of chaos space marines. Apparently they were fighting on the top of large black circle-like things, that were in the ground. East of them was an large gate with an arcane seal on it. It was these two things that Zyklaeus wanted to know answers to. He stopped at the front of Gabriel. "I am not completely sure of what these black circles on the ground are." Zyklaeus said "could you mind explaining it to me?"
"Very well then." Gabriel answered, "Those black circles are supposedly keys to opening that gate. We found this place some time ago, and since the traitors are so interested about it, we should too take a look inside it. There all that can be taken, will be given to inquisition and everything else will be purged."
"But how are you planning to activate these keys?" Zyklaeus asked. "An arcane writing that we found showed the answer," Gabriel said, "Apparently the circle, who we currently possess, draws its power directly from the sun itself. The one, chaos marines are holding is powered by the stars. Once we have both in our hands, we can reveal this planets night sky, showing both the sun and the stars. Then they both should activate, opening the gate."
"And what do you think will be revealed inside?" Zyklaeus asked again. "That is still uncertain." Gabriel replied, "but possibly there might be something that tells something about this planet's secrets."
At that time, The chaos marines retreated. The Blood Ravens secured the other circle. "It is time." Gabriel said. The mechanism, that prevented the planet's nightsky from being visble, was shut down, revealing both a sun and the stars. Blood ravens gathered on the front of the gate, as the circles started to emit blue light. The light moved from the circles to the gate, via lines in the ground. The seal opened.
Suddenly, like something unnatural had told him, Zyklaeus runned towards the gate and shouted "At last the secrets are revealed!" This sentence proved to be baleful, as suddenly, an malicious eye popped to existence on the gate's seal. All reality started to melt...'
