Thank you for the feedback. I can say that with the upcoming version, anti-vehicle weapons have been better tweaked to reflect their real-life properties.

First of all, thank you for your comment, it is a very big morale booster!

Second, yes, the mod is currently being worked on. I've restarted the mod a few times to have fresh files to improve stability/crashes, and I should have it wrapped up in the upcoming weeks.

The stuff posted here including the "latest" article is not a complete indication of the full overhaul being done. It can all be considered outdated. A post will be made when the mod will update.

We are always open to feedback and suggestions. You can join the Discord that is linked at the top where I post anything WIP that I'm working on, and is semi-active(like any new server with low population, slow to react).

I'm sorry to say that 0.3.x is not being worked on/supported despite it being the latest version posted. What I CAN Say, is that the newer V0.4.0(It's more like a V1 Redux than anything, complete redesign of the mod) is being worked on and should be out reasonably soon.

Work is going well; The mod uses its own .ucs that has a copy of all vanilla text but only for English, either I can convert everything to English or have someone help with translation xd

I could write a paragraph about the differences but I'll just post a snippet of the new changelog

General:
-1. Integrity of ranges more faithful to vanilla gameplay; engagements still happen at around 50-65 meters(average increase of 15 meters from vanilla ranges), very few exceptions
1a. Rifles, submachine guns, infantry rocket launchers can shoot until 50 meters(35 vanilla)
1b. Most tank guns shoot until 55 meters(40 vanilla); Tank destroyers, StuH 42, Pershing, King Tiger and Jagdpanther shoot until 60 meters(45 vanilla); Panther shoots until 62.5 meters(47.5 vanilla, and yes, that is whack)
1c. Anti-tank guns and self-propelled guns(excluding the StuG) shoot until 85 meters(60 vanilla); FlaK 88 shoots until 115 meters(100 vanilla)
1d. The FlaK 88, Flakverling 38, KwK 38 20mm(Puma and Sdkfz. 222), and FlaK 43 37mm(OStwind) have the "aa_weapon_shoot_through" attribute enabled, which increases AA efficiency
1e. Snipers are 70 meters(50 vanilla)
1f. Machine guns are 55-60 meters depending on gun
1g. Tank hull and coax machine guns are 40 meters(20 vanilla); do damage and have similar accuracy to regular ones

-2. Damage model upped to be a bit more lethal but retaining much of the pace of vanilla gameplay(Two full HP squads breathing on eachother will actually go somewhere besides a staring contest)
2a. Machine guns are 8 damage(7 vanilla)

-3. Population cost based on actual crew/squad size
3a. Weapon crews are 4 men

-4. Vehicle sight increased to 50 meters(35 vanilla)
1a. Scout vehicle sight increased to 70 meters(55 vanilla)

-5. Infantry flamethrower upgrade limit changed to 1(No limit in vanilla, but due to low item slots for squads it would usually only allow one purchase)

-6. Casualty collection now requires 16 men to reform a squad

-7. Starting popcap is increased to 60(30 vanilla)

-8. Capturing supply points gives 5, 7, and 9 points for Low, Medium, and High points respectively(3, 5, 7 are vanilla values)

-9. The ability to manually abandon them team weapons is disabled, but, and when a team weapon drops below the minimum member requirement(Like 1 guy for a mortar), he won't die automatically like in vanilla

-10. All Demolitions charges can be placed anywhere

-11. Shell deflection does not do damage

-12. Healing radius increased to 30 meters from 15(vanilla)

Squad sizes are increased to 8 men, PE Panzer Grens start at 5 but can upgrade to 6, weapons are *a bit* more crunchier but not total overkill like in 3.2. Textures and models are not updated, nor is there a lot of new content currently, but playability is 10000000%

I've been re-working the whole mod to start fresh with all the experience I've obtained over the last 6 years, ultimately I want to have a properly functioning mod and I WILL eventually add most of the changes of this old version

The way AA and planes work is being revamped as of this new version. In vanilla/older versions of the mod, essentially, all allied planes are paper and Henschels are the only plane that has some actual durability. Because of AA being what it was, Henschels would pretty much never get shot down because of a few things, mainly because of the stats of Allied AA being rather poor against the Henschel's target type.

In the new version I am developing, AA and planes are undergoing extensive re-working. I am buffing the durability of all planes, but I am also upping the potency of AA. All AA should now also be able to target planes at nearly any location. I also want to give the accessibility of planes to all factions, so there will be more planes, more AA, planes can do more, AA can shoot down more planes easier.

This is fixed as of the new version I'm working on. It's an issue with the proper pathing for the model/mesh and weapon.

Personal issues are resolving so I will have more time to work on the mod soon enough. Development is rather slow but I have not forgotten about it.

CoH NSV's last update also broke the USMC faction(Fatal SCAR Error as soon as you load, checking the logs do not give you proper information on it) and I've been trying to figure out how to fix them. :/

Just extract the archive and dump all files into CoH Relaunch. Afterwards, add the following launch parameters for CoH New Steam Version in Steam: -dev -mod Bush_Mod

Should be good to go.

Can't say I have a specific date. Mod progress has slowed due to real life things, so I cannot guarantee a date. However, this mod IS NOT dead, and I AM still working on it.

I apologise for the lack of updates; I have to admit that I have not been working on the mod much due to various personal things. The main thing that I have been working on is mainly tweaking the current combat system I have implemented. As for coming across as rude, well, it's fine. It did not seem that way to me at all.
