It's not the mod causing that you have something else happening.

If you don't see it on the menu then it's not installed right.

I agree with this, I didn't install the TSLRCM only part because I thought the M4-78 installer was all I needed to do. When I got to the enclave none of the masters would talk to me and the scene didn't play. It took some looking around to find out that it wasn't installed correctly.

This is hotfix 7 but the latest is hotfix 8 which can be downloaded from the modder's site. Tessmage.com

They didn't do anything like that just small changes to make the game work better on new PCs.
