Love all things Sci-fi and fantasy, the Sins of the Prophets, Dawn of the Reapers and Dawn of victory mods for Sins of a Solar Empire are what I'm really waiting for and joined this excellent and brilliant modding community. Currently learning skinning and texturing and I have experience in the field of codding I have several concept art images that I'm thinking of making into my own mod once I have aquired enough skill.
Added an ability for the Reapers that fires a huge beam that basically destroys the targeted ship with one shot. Still working on it.
Looks like fleet battles are going to be real messy!

Not bad at all, it takes massive fleets to destroy a reaper one. It's good! Let's hope my computer can handle large scale battles.
The problem is that ships fly into each other and then it creates a mess. Would be nice if they added a custom Fleet formation so you could create Battles from the game for example last battle from ME3, where all the fleets are kinda lined up.

Yeah exactly. They just rush into each other and creates a mess. If you Want a messy Battle thats fine, Its Easy to do that. Just fly into each other. It kinda annoys me when ships fly into each other, shoots a couple of rounds on the way then turns back and gets pwned from behind. Shooting from a distance in a formation is much better tbh.
That reaper in the top right looks wicked! Don't mind messy battle. ME3 battle over earth started all neat, but when normandy flying down, the ships were all tangled.
yeah... the reason that battle was messy is the strategy behind it. it's actually the most basic concept of strategy: binding forces. so instead of aiming for the annihilation of the reapers, the forces of the united galaxy aimed to bind them to the battle in space, while their ground forces were making the actual moves to win the battle. if they expected to win, it would have been less messy.
