Report RSS Comparisations shots (... or the version they don't want)

Posted by on

In December 2017 and in October 2018, I've posted some screenshots of a pre-TOS project that I had intended for the RPG-X modification for Elite Force. A project that is now being in the works for a Jedi Academy release, since I believe that the quality of the project is too good to let go to waste.

Last year while reviewing The Last Outpost's Star Trek: RPG-X Ultimate Edition (which is nothing more then a glorified repack), I came across their own developed version of this project.

Needless to say, the difference between what could've been and what has been, is stagging and to demonstrate the differences in both versions, I have decided to post some comparisation shots of the two versions. On the left you can find my still in development version, on the right you can find the released TLO version.

Whether or not it is regrettable, The Last Outpost has opted not to utilize my talents for their (failing) product and decided to continue regarding me as sub-human. Therefor I have made the decision to port this project to Jedi Academy, so that people can see what the original version of this map could have been if it was released for RPG-X, as it was intended.

As always, feedback and suggestions are always welcome and can be done through the well-known and obvious channels . . .

Totally unrelated to this post but I can say that the Jedi Academy version looks awesome already and I only played an alpha version of the map.
