Quick update for status of my mod page. I imagine I don't really have anyone following me yet but just in case someone who has played my mods have been wondering if I'm still working on anything or am even alive, yes I am. I've been away for quite some time, life in general has just not gave me the time to put work into my mods very often. But I am still working on a new map currently that is my biggest project yet. I have no idea when I'll get it done, but I do plan to finish it and do more maps in the future as well. So that's all for this little update.

This looks like an awesome mod, though I seem to be having a strange issue trying to get it to look right. So I put the files in the doom 3 directory and loaded it up to find that all the updated models seem to be working just fine, as well as the zombies and z secs being updated with the different character models. But for some reason the textures seem really faded or stretched. For instance with the Cyberdemon, his model looks correct but his skin textures barely look any different then the vanilla textures. I have tried different settings in game, thinking it could be a texture scale thing or what not, plus I have tried putting the files in the base directory and even in my own mod folder, even going as far as to unpack the pk files themselves and put the actual dds, models, texture folders, ect into the base directory, but I still get the same faded out low def looking textures. I also downloaded the 2.0 patch as well, and that didn't seem to make any difference either.

This is the only graphics mod I have set up, so I can't imagine it conflicting with anything. Am I just being stupid and missing something obvious or is this just some issue unique to me? I have a pretty powerful PC, so it cant be my rig unless its some compatibility issues with a graphics driver or something strange like that. But the Redux mod never gave me any texture issues so I'm at a wall on this one. Any suggestions?

Gave a very small update for Shadow Hell. Was revisiting it to make sure it works on the latest GZdoom builds, which it does, and came across a couple of areas not properly closed off or areas where the player could potentially become trapped. Hopefully there are no other issues like that I have managed to miss. If anyone runs into problems just let me know.

Other weapon mods may work for the pistol, shotguns and the chainsaw since those are vanilla. But the other weapons placed in the map are custom weapons from Realm 667. So I imagine any other weapon mods would not work unless they automatically overwrite the previous custom weapons. You could try it, but it might break the weapon placements and ammo pickups. Besides, I balanced the map around the custom weapons. So replacing them may mess with the balance and pace of the map. So I can't promise other weapon mods would work.

It is a strange error for sure. I think it was an issue with how I compressed the original file. Should be fixed now with the re-uploaded file. Its the same file so if you are using the original upload its all the same difference. And the title screen is just the vanilla graphics. I thought about making a custom title for it but the map had already taken so long; I just wanted to get it out there. But thanks for checking the map out, hope you enjoy it :)

Ok,Just re-uploaded the file and tested it. It should open just fine now regardless of how you extract it.

Mmm,I think I see the issue. When I extract the file by clicking EXTRACT ALL it gives an interrupted message and if I hit skip then it is empty. But if I go to 7_zip and go mouse over to EXTRACT FILES, or to EXTRACT HERE option it unzips without issue. So try one of those methods, but I will re-upload regardless. Thanks for letting me know, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Oh I think I see what the confusion is now. When I uploaded Shadow Hell I linked it to my other mods. So when you are viewing my doom 3 mod the file for Shadow Hell shows up as well. Sorry about the confusion. I thought linking the mods was only going to show them on the side not put the files side by side like that. I'm still getting used to the website.

No, Shadow Hell is a custom map for Doom 2. You may be seeing one of my other mods Doom 3 Definitive edition, which is a mod for Doom 3.

Hey there, I wanted to let you know that I released a second version of the items mod that should fix the issue you were having with Project Brutality. The file should be on the mod page. To load it properly select it first then select project brutality second and drag them over your gzdoom exe. Also, if you want to use the mod with brutal doom you need to use the original mod file and load it with the mod selected first and then brutal doom. Hope the new version fixes the issue :)

Ok, so I looked into the problem and did some testing with Project Brutality. I managed to get the armor bonuses to show correctly by using the ZDL launcher to load my mod after Project Brutality, but the chest plates and health packs are still being overwritten by Project Brutality's. I will continue to try and get the other items showing correctly. Sorry about the inconvenience, this is my first doom mod so i'm still a noob and learning as I go, but I'll keep trying to solve the issue, thanks for the feedback.

No worries, I have the game bought and owned through steam, the mod does not include the Doom 3 game, only mod files. I put the 3 on it since its a mod for Doom 3. There are countless mods on this sight alone that use the same naming convention, and I make no claim of owning the Doom license or anything like that, Doom 3 is of course Id's property. This is only a game balance mod, nothing more. Thanks for the concern though.

Oh I thought I already had a few screenshots up, at least I can see them anyway. There's not to much to show since most of the mod is balance changes to weapon stats and such, but there should be a few pictures up. One shows the splash damage I added to the plasma gun, another one shows the megahealth replacing the berserk powerup. Then there's a pic showing the switched out chaingun ammo boxes, and finally one that shows the backpack removed from the game for balance reasons. But ill check on those images and make sure they are showing, thanks for the comment :)
