I feel it's a good hud... it doesn't take up too much of the screen (hopefully), yet it's quite eye-catching. Ultra did a great job with it.

There are several reasons there's no co-op in most games. First, you need a fast connection to support all the data that's being transferred back and forth, which includes enemy data, positions, event handling, AI, and more. You'd have to send that data to every computer that's connected, so you're actually transmitting that data x different times (x being however many players are connected), and that puts a heavy load on the servers. Also, the bandwidth associated with that would be massive - many ISP's have bandwidth caps (thankfully, mine doesn't) and once you pass that bandwidth limit, they throttle you down majorly. And I think there's also extra costs involved when you use a large amount of bandwidth. I seriously don't know if we're going to have the resources for that kind of work, but rest assured, if we do, and we can run it smoothly enough, yes we will put it in there because it's going to make us stand out that much more.
Ahh, thanks for pointing that out. I'll fix it. :)
Actually, it's just an image our concept guy made, but I'm making those mechs you see enemies. :)
Basically, what I have in mind for them is to put knives on them and have them jump around slashing at you when they get close.
We hope to bring more to the scene once we get everything situated on our new server.
Actually, a lot has been done in the months we've been out. There's going to be more to come.
I'll pass that along. Thanks for your feedback. :)
Hey Puff, when I suggested you watch "Romancing the Stone", this is not exactly what I meant. :O

Looks like those two T-Rex's are about to fight over the raptor. I also just noticed that the raptors look like "snappers" from the Gothic series. :D
Would love to see some of these dinosaurs chomping on things, LOL! SNACK TIME!
Alright guys here's take 2. Hopefully, you'll like this a little better. :)

Well guys, I kept my promise. You'll find that we added 2 new screenshots of the AK47 in an in-game environment. Hope I didn't promise too much. ;)
@ Kamikazi,
I've been throwing around a couple in-game shots already in our private forums. I could ask to see if the leads'll give me the go-ahead to put them up here (which I think they will, but it's always good to ask before you do it, it's just proper procedure.)
Thanks for the support, and we hope to have more cool stuff for you next update. :)
Wait till you see the texture. I had fun playing with this one. Russians make great weapons. :)
Hey bro, you are a genius. This is simply the best Diablo 2 mod I have ever played.
Agreed. Besides, how many people go out and imitate what they see on video games? And the ones that do have mental problems to begin with, and shouldn't have been allowed to play violent games. In my opinion, in ALL these type of cases, it all comes down to one of two things - either bad parenting, or schools not keeping their eye on the kids properly.
But of course, some people don't take responsibility for what happens. They find it easier to put the blame on someone else. "Oh it's not my kid's fault, it's the videogame company's fault." That attitude makes me sick.
Crytek have ALWAYS spoiled their modders. A free version of CE3 wouldn't surprise me in the least. It will no doubt be watered down compared to the full deal, but I bet you'll still be able to do quite a bit with it. :)
I always told Alex (the old CM) that they better be careful, else people are going to expect too much from them. :D He would always laugh.
I totally gave up on Source engine when I saw their amazingly complicated weapon rig skeletons. Does that allow for more flexibility animation-wise or something?
Thanks!
Our new update will be next month probs, we'll have more cool stuff for you then. :)
I love what you've done with this mod. This is what Diablo 2 should've been from the beginning. I'm voting.
FYI: The charging handle was missing when they made those comments. It has since been updated to address quality issues. ;)
Re-read my earlier post. The model on the right is what's going in game, the one on the left is for normal mapping only. I'm doing the normal mapping the "correct" way. ;)
Wow, I didn't know you could mod Gothic 2 like this. Good luck guys, this sounds great.
Yes, the left model is the HP model (~ 1.3 million triangles), the right is the LP (~ 7720 triangles.) All current-gen games work like this. They take a high-poly geometry, then do a projection map onto the low-poly geometry, which has all the unwrapping coordinates needed. :)
Hmm, I always thought the A1 was the second version - the one where they replaced the barrel with the birdcage design, and switched to the rounded foregrip. Oh well, doesn't really matter. :P
Ok guys I updated the M16 to have a better texture. Please post your thoughts/suggestions. :)
