I could only overlay the audio by putting it through Movie Maker(don't know of any other free video editor, aka too lazy to look for one) so it came out to WMV.
The way I exported it from WMM was for maximum quality. It's rendered at 1440x1080, which is why it is so sharp for a wmv.
Its way better than Movie Maker.
You just open up the freshly converted AVI then you go to go to Audio then WAV Audio and choose the your audio.
Then save it as AVI file.
You won't lose quality, as it basically only adds the audio (doesn't rerender the video).
I've been messing with that a lot too, did you convert the AVI to WMV?
I am pretty sure that the converter converts them to AVI. As for quality and playback performance, AVI is better than WMV.

Content-wise, they used another beta model again for the video, right?
I'm trying to find a MP4 to AU/VP6 file converter, or is there a way to use MP4 files within Command and Conquer 3?
