I always thought there was some invulnerability window during that animation, but I may be wrong, I din't pay too much attention to it. There is also the fall damage if the throw the player too high.
The arena map is buggy. Every time I modify something to fix or patch one issue there are 2 more that show up in the next playtest.

Hello, thanks for playing the mod.
I think that the orcs not doing damage is not a bug.
The player is immune during the rise animation to prevent a frustrating death. If players could take damage they will be killed easily and couldn't do nothing about it.
The throw may throw the player into a trap, or a cliff, fire...etc so it's not that effective in the arena and it was designed for different environment.
The bone dragon is a npc that relies on scripted events in the game and it' gliches can not be fixed, I wasn't sure to add it in the area for this reason

I Just released an update for the arena to make every round spawn random enemies.
So yes it would be possible, I don't know about the random dungeon. I've seen people do it for CSGO but I don't know if it will work well in DM.

Yes, but the "world" would be divided into different areas that are loaded one by one by the engine. big open maps are not good with source.
But it's possible.

Hello, thanks, glad you liked the mod. The brightness issue may be caused by the arena map. It has no lights to save for performances. Restarting the game and play arena should be fine.

The swamp map is unfinished. Sorry for the time you wasted looking in that level, i had to focus on other things. I will probably finish it, still don't know when because right now i'm busy with other projects.

Probably the cyclops, they tend to walk over other npcs and kill them, i always try to spawn cyclops at the end of the wave so that the way is clear. As i said when i test the round one by one they just work well. You can try it too. Open console and type "ent_fire roundcounter" it's an entity used to count the rounds, use the command "addvaluenofire" to set the round number to whatever you want, then walk into the arena. When i test rounds like this they just work fine.
I my add a button or some other stuff to avoid the buggy behavior after different saves. It will take more time than usual so i'll probably do in the weekend.

I updated the file again. I tested rounds 74 75 and 87, all enemies went out and it worked. I tested the rounds with debug tools like console. But all enemies came out and there were no problems. As I said i think the game is kinda messed up and for some reasons the map start to behave buggy after some saves. I may add a button that push all enemies into the arena

Both on campaign and arena the difficulty is based on your last new game created for the normal campaign. I couldn't find a way to set the difficulty so i guess the game just grabs the last one. If you want to try create a new game on hard, save and then launch the mod or the arena.

When i was testing most of the npcs just ran immediatly into the arena. My guess is tha manually saving the game can mess up stuff. It happened a lot durning testing and also in the campaign.
If you loaded the old saves there are obvious issues so om not surprised its not working. I will look into round 87 too but the best way is to delerr all the preciius saves and start a new arena run with the new patch

Hello, glad you liked the arena. Thanks for the bug report, the mobs should all run into the arena center at the beginning of the round. The way it works is that they have no collision when they spawn so that they don't get stuck. I will fix and upload a new version.
I made a fix for the arena map. Be aware that manual saves can break some stuff. It happened to me a lot during testing, ii couldn't find a solution, i added a autosave every round's end in the arena.

I had this bug few times, i didn't understand how to fix it. Did you manually saved the game? or put some physics objects into the horse path?
Try to restart the map.

Hi, yep i think that this version only works with steam in the way it has to be installed.
You can try to copy and paste all the files in "dmmod" except for gameinfo into your "mm" folder, but be sure to make a backup before.
This should just overwrite all files and the mod should work.

The way it works with the steam version is that it adds the "dmmod" folder to the game floders via gameinfo.txt so all the new stuff is loaded.
Edit: Also be sure to copy the cutscene folder "media" into dmmod
