Here's some short feedback for bugs while playing:

- Quickload crash issues
- Game freezes after level transfer(rare)
- Game crashes when two NSF NPC rushes into the main doorway near the ambrosia at the airport helipad map
- Game kept crashing when dying at Ton Hotel, UNATCO Raiding Paul's room, door did not explode and I have to get out manually, this bug is fixed when quickloaded before dying and door explodes as per normal.

Other than that, kudos to keeping to the hype, most of the features definitely gave me reason to use everything (Stealth Pistol is now a mini-SMG, AR and shotty sounds awesome, Stealth makes more sense)

I'm impressed by what you're doing, improving upon game mechanics that are actually steps forward to develop better, believable games. Ironic that mainstreams games of today are so primitive at their game design.

This is what gaming would have been right now if not for the casualization of games. You've earned the respect and recognition of the fellow audience and fanbase out here. Kudos to your dedicated commitment to remove the suck of Deus Ex. You should go out there and make a game of your own, that I believe I would likely support and trust your judgement in game design.

That being said, I still hope that this course stays strong as it is, with the goal of purely being a mod made by dedicated gamers and fans of this series.

One could say that the friendly is carrying a device that is 'electrostatic-ally' linked to the person, like say static electricity. The device is attached close to a person's skin that allows for immediate contact with both the body and the device.

The laser beams will make contact with the body, which sends a signal to the body, and in turn, trigger the device. The device will send a return signal(wirelessly?) to the alarm system whether or not he/she is a friendly.

Since this is 2052 this would be more understandable of technology being "oblivious" in conjunction of technology today growing more flexible and compact.

One question, are the artifacts respawnable? I had played a session and grabbed most of the artifacts in the conventional south areas, (cordon, garbage, etc) and after about a week(I think) I still don't see any respawns.

Anyway, any chance of including guides from Clear Sky? For the multitude of maps this seems rather cumbersome to travel. Not wanting the ful features since this comes from COP, but rather some simple fast travel option in each map to help in travel.

Always love the modders who make the games as immersive as possible, keep it up!

Still, they shouldn't have gone through with this, I still feel they should have gone by this themselves without the interference of some corporate company, it would make no sense for 'Square Enix' to attack revision as a free mod.

That would mean all other game companies would have done to same to many other mods out there. Even with possible 'risks' involved it seems too easy for CC to cave-in and submit to their whims.

It's as if that the next Deus Ex game has impending flaws and somehow SE has to do something to make people forget about it and not compare to other games.

Oh wait.

You are using a game bug as a reason for your argument? Really?
A measly game bug that does nothing to foreshadow the content of improvements this mod had?

You do not make sense if you're using this as a reason to support the later part of your paragraph.

I'd agree about the dodgy move but the mod has alot to shine even with a number of bugs.(sunglasses on people, black screen, CTD) Nothing deal breaking at least.

Yes, just know that there are some of us who wished that you integrate your mod into Revision, sort of a best of both worlds.

@camycamera Although he too plans to expands the levels into something more faithful to the Deus Ex style. I've always looked into Revision as a believably artistic version of a mod. Always good to have options.

You clearly would wish to fight me over the issue of not giving a 10/10 rather than tackling the trend that the gaming industry would want to make a bigger hole in your wallet?

If I may say so good sir, you sound like one of those 1/10 point scoring twats. Funny how your reaction is directed towards people who feel privileged when you yourself feel privileged to tell me to **** off and dis my opinion.

Rather than have a relevent conversation with my opinion.

Ok, considering that both sides of the argument are polar opposites, let me rub my opinion on this one, and I can't believe not many are tackling the real issue here.

The people that posted low scores are the ones (aibeit acting idiotically) who are rather disappointed with the actions of the mod developers, and saw this as a scheme for Square Enix to dive in and rub their dicks onto people for money.

You see, this issue isn't about people not reading into a workaround of a non-steam download, but rather that they are ****** at being baited to buy the steam version before looking for a workaround.

And no, that article DOES NOT mention about a non-steam version. (However, it is intended for use with a copy of Deus Ex owned through Steam.) Yes, someone can figure it out, but someone else can easily miss it out.

Now, all this isn't at all a commercial or paid DLC, and yes, the defenders are right(But seriously, stop with the ******* "mods are free therefore I'm right and you should STFU" ********). The release is somewhat dodgy.

-Steam only release stated on article
-A statement to ask people to buy it on steam
-Released as free DLC stated.
-Square Enix was mentioned starting a sale
-No workaround stated for non-steam version.

I might be nitpicking, but there was the previous article about possible issues with Square Enix with the mod dev team, and I don't need to connect two-on-two to know that SE is having some fun with us.

Before someone tells me I'm a kid, I do find the mod really great, abit bloated, but still a great release. 9/10, Ethics, not so much.
