Fair enough. Also, in case you're interested, here's an interesting recent discussion at doomworld.com about high-res monster sprites but it seems that there are many complications with this project - Doomworld.com

Feedback - the incredibly sharp and high-res textures make the low-res NPCs look very out of place due to the sheer contrast and so are you gonna update the NPC sprites in the future ? There's a good HD weapons pack released recently but none for the NPCs....

20 kg in 2 weeks ???, man rest for a while, no rush. These textures are obviously the greatest face lift these classic games have ever had so take your sweet time. People like you keep these classics alive with your hard work and your sheer unique talent and then I don't even bother with the latest watered down 'accessible' shooter on the market, cheers. Also, liked how the classic look of the game is replicated so well despite the new textures. Thank You and may god bless you.

And btw so many mods often conflict with each other so give him some credit for combining mods that work together....

Hey man , i've never played quake but since i'm a big retro games fan (having played thief,unreal,duke etc recently) , i decided to play it then subsequently spend hours on the internet until i came across your compilation........................what you're doing is so so awesome man , coz of guys like you retro pc goodness will shine forever !!!!!!!

Thx Daemon for the detailed explanation.Been searching , nothing wrong with TDM , it's just that i can't shrug off that classic looking glass design (maybe nostalgia ??) that i'm oh so addicted to , speaking of which l.glass shutting down still bugs me till date especially when i see stretched out ***** like ea,act.,ubi around..........

does THE DARK MOD has the original thief-like feeling , anybody ????
