This is really, very good. A common problem I notice with Portal Mods is that the designers assume that you've played Portal before and therefore must be an expert at it. Then they throw a ton of challenges at you that require above-average reflexes or observation skills, or a willingness to reload saved games over and over again.

Gamma energy is not that sort of mod. It reminds me strongly of portal in that a lot of time is dedicated to rehashing basic portal techniques and reinforcing learned moves. On top of that, it adds several unique puzzle elements that I've never seen before in any Portal mod or in Portal itself.

This is well worth picking up.
