I just bought myself a new PC. The spec's were far superior than my old one, but really, nothing feels different.
Old:
2x 280 GTX
Some quad core intel CPU
8GB ram
Vista 64
500w Power
New:
1x 5970 HD ATI
X 980 6 core CPU
12GB ram
Windows 7 64
1000w Power
I still use my 1980x1020 screen, too. But here's the thing, I can barely run crysis still. It's a little slow in the beginning parts, which is abnormal. I run everything Very High, without AA. The one thing that's improved is that I can't see any more graphical artifacts that shitty nVidia caused with their incredibly tacky drivers. Stalker COP runs the same, Fallout 3 sky doesn't strobe anymore, Bad Comapny 2 is MUCH faster. So the improvment is only in little spots, which is dissapointing.
