I received this game free. It's a GOTY. Reception was around 2001. Looked at the cheesy disk label and decided it MUST be terrible so I tossed it aside. Down the road I installed it and tried it. It seemed like garbage so I unstalled it.

Sometime down the road I reinstalled it for whatever reason. I tried it again. I looked past it's tackiness, gave it a chance. I found it to be an awesome game. It's cover art probably under sold it.

The introductory Assignment is boring and may turn players away from the game but the entire game is not like the first assignment.

Graphics are ancient compared to Human Revolution because Deus Ex is the original unreal technology. BUT Human revolution is still inferior.

Back to Deus Ex. Try it. You can play homicidal the way most games are played, the boring way. Try Deus Ex pacifist if you like a challenge.

I never Uninstalled Deus Ex. I don't play it anymore because I played it about a hundred times, but I keep it installed JUST encase.
