More maps will definitely happen, there's a sort of adventure mode idea that I'm also working with that will have very large stages.

You will also be able to very easily make your own maps using Tiled2D :)

Currently I have wood, which is solid and allows you to float on water/stand on pillars.

Track, which allows a minecart to ride on you.

Zipper, which allows you to climb special walls.

He didn't make the art, nor the battle system. They are built into RPG Maker

I'm sorry but the amount of money you're asking to fund a proof of concept is ludicrous! 1000$ a week for your "dedicated team"? Licensing the dev kits for consoles? These are hardly requirements. Copyrighting the name and setting up a business? Why do you have to worry about copyrights?
