It wasn't really developed at that time. I can tell you that it's way less work than the years that passed since. I'm not working at this since 2011. It's like two months in 2011, 1.5 month in 2012 and 1.5 month in 2013 so far. I don't know if it will be finished and I'll explain why in a news topic that will come soon. They do not replace the grunt or brute. These are separate models that can be used just like the original Amnesia enemies via the level editor and scripting.

1) The sidewalk is elevated compared to the street like normal sidewalks are. It's higher than the street so it doesn't look strange. There are also a few fire hydrants. Or maybe I didn't understand what you said.

2) Yes, the gate is actually the Amnesia elevator one but larger. Do you think it doesn't fit to the modern environment?

Yes actually these are skyboxes and I don't know how to edit them. I need to find a new one and that's not very easy considering the .dds format and the rotation of it. Anyway, I will update if I change it.
