I have been modding Battlefield 2 for about four years now. My specialty is animation mixing and blending but I'm pretty experienced in a variety of areas, including BFmeshviewer and 3ds Max. I have also done a lot of work with texture editing and mesh hacking, with a focus on realistic specular lighting and shading effects. I have released some of my work on my YouTube page. Man, this model looks so amazing I can't believe it! The other pictures you uploaded are CRAZY!
I love this gun in RS2, really awesome! They have even other Soviet made weapons in there that blow my mind like RPD, SKS and Mosin Nagant.
Edit: And if you need the texture for it let me know, I doubt it though because I guess you already used our BFK DP28 animations PR did for the previous model.
Looks amazing! I hope that it will be in the Battlefield 1943 since this gun is one of my favorite ones from the Soviet Union.
Yeah that is what he is making it for. He is basically going to take it upon himself to redo pretty much all of our weapons for all factions so far at least except for the Japanese. :)
Not sure if that is becasue he is having an issue finding good weapon models for them or becasue we don't actually have them in game yet.
He kind of wants to go Heat of Battle route with 1944 mod, and I really like that idea becasue HOB was one of my favorite mods!
That's good to hear and since Heat of Battle is amazing, I'm glad to see a WW2 version of it.
Also, for the Japanese weapons, I know only the Rising storm.

Thanks. Yeah we got phale here doing basically all the handheld weapons, General_Bradly handling vehicles and I am going to try and focus on the maps. Kind of a small team but we have a lot of motivation. Also Battlegroup42 mod is letting us port over content that would look great in the BF2 engine that are good quality.
