So far so good! Easy to install and get going, really fun so far. One thing that is really throwing me off is that my generic headphones sound like broken earbuds. Everything is extremely tinny sounding. No bottom end especially in gun sounds. I hope this is a bug or hardware incompatability.

Edit: After changing sound device to libOPN I feel like most SFX sound a lot better. Guns sound as I expect from Doom 1/2, most enemies sound pretty normal. It's just that new sound FX from the mod sound very harsh and tinny. Like when a whole row of barrels explodes or the sounds that indicate a new level is starting.

Can I run this mod without multiplayer thinking I'm cheating or anything?

The trailer sums up why this game is awesome. 4 person squad that you take with you to clear buildings from zombies, total awesomeness!

But... The game isn't complete yet. It's not even close. And they don't reply to any questions, bug reports or anything. Looks like they got their money and ran off like so many indie dev's nowadays.

Update:
I made a huge bug report topic where I posted every bug I could find over a month ago. I also sent them an official bug report using the form they made for it. Then after not hearing anything from them I sent them an e-mail asking wether or not they were ever going to finish the game. They responded that it's done in their eyes. Everybody who has ever played this game disagrees. I guess they just confirmed that they took our money and then ran off.
Do not support these developers!

Is somebody talking in the gameplay video? or are they just making human-like-sounds? It sounds like a voice but I can't hear more then 2 words in there. I'm assuming it's not english?

Very awesome mod! Only thing that kind of got annoying is the fact that you often run around holding that ... antlion smell thingy and get a few hits when going around corners, but there's a long part of the campaign where you can't find ammo. While walking just 200 meters I had to save at least 6 times to make sure I wouldn't loose to much health. So some extra health around that part would be good, but for the rest great mod!!

(Same problem with Pandora and other American audio streamers by the way and also the same question about what Audio sources there are...)

What sources can you watch video from?
Things like Hulu don't work in Europe. At least they don't work in the Netherlands.

Also every time I see a popular show on CC or MTV share a link to a video/episode on facebook it tells me it's unavailable in my country when I try to watch it.

Will I have the same problem in this 'game'? And what sources can you watch video from? And are the games actually playable in this mod?

Hm... The game ignores the [Enter] key on my computer. Can't do anything in main menu. Is this a common problem?

Yea I kinda wanna know as well what's up with that before I buy this game. No answer for 3 months doesn't make me wanna give em my money tbh :P

(Also will the game run smoother? @ 1024*786 at lowest settings the framerate when moving camera is about 0,6 fps)

Is the demo the same build as the normal version?
Demo is still a bit iffy when it comes to movement and survivor AI so I'm not a 100% sure whether or not I will like the endproduct.
If the demo is an old build I'm sure it will be better by now...

I meant that in many cases the cause of the clipping could have been prevented very easily.

But if it's the player I guess not. It's a lot better now on this page as well...

For who's wondering... Unlike what they say it doesn't require steam to run. Bought it on steam, closed steam, opened the exe, worked fine.

Fan-freaking-tastic game btw. Exáctly what I was looking for.

Trailer audio is clipping a lót

I always wonder if a game dev doesn't know the basics about sound, how can they make a game which is much harder? :P I know obviously you can make a game as we can see in the trailer, I just wonder why you didn't take the 5 seconds to fix the audio though...

I'm not sure how many people have those problems though, we cóuld be a minority. And I don't think steam or desura will let them rollback to a previous version..

Based on the problems with the new version i'd keep desura on the old one and download the new one in steam. If you have no problems you can update the desura version just by trying to play it. It will notify you of updates if they are available. By now it is... it took a little while to get the update approved

Not a fan of the update, but now at least i know i shouldnt update the desura version i have because of insane instability

Hey I can't really play this with my Geforce 210 512mb, pixel shader 4.1 unless I play it on minimum.
Do you guys expect it to be running much smoother soon (or atleast when it's done) or are the requirements gonna be pretty high for an indie game?

Can i expect the music that´s in the trailer to be in the game too?

This mod crashes when minimised. So save often

Looks cool but doesn't show up in my games list. Tried restarting steam offc and deleted and reinstalled a couple of times.
