It does. It's the shotgun from Cube 2. Probably just a placeholder until they have their own models worked out.

I would totally buy a real pair of pliers like these!
Oh god, this is so terrifyingly ambitious... Lol
Well, players could always force color choice by making their own car skins after dling the game, lol. It is HL2 based, after all :D
Sequels are the lifeblood of game evolution. They let a company go "Hey, this was bad last time, lets remove or improve it." Without sequels, we'd also still be stuck with Duke Nukum, and would never have gotten DNII or DN3D.
HL was great, but without it's sequel HL2, would it have ever been ported to the Source engine to make it even better? Probably not, since without HL2, the Source engine wouldn't even exist.
*Fluffs the members pillows and tucks them in tight so they will be well rested to tackle the work-to-come*
More like "finished"
"Dead" would be a mod that's in Beta or unreleased.
I was always under the impression that GI's carried assault rifles, not MP5's, but I suppose that would explain the rather weak sound of them firing :P
Though I know for a fact that they use M249s when they deploy
Keep up the excellent progress, guys!
Epic mod, I use it all the time :D
Though of course, being me, I'm making a personal version for myself ^^
Oh my god this looks so damned sexy! Would totally make hunting down and reinstalling Doom III worth it!
Bought and played the full version, hard as a motherf*cker in later levels until you learn the tricks. Enemies do become faster, so just circle-strafing and backpedalling no longer work to keep away from them ;3.
This is a horrid game profile... Fix the spelling, add details about the game, get better screenshots... The list goes on and on.
I've been wondering for a while now why they have it as a Custom engine even though it's the Cube 2 engine... Sure they may have modified it, but it's still Sauerbraten.
I was actually wondering the same thing. Will map editing be as accessible as putting pre-made sections together with the possibility for more advanced users to make their own areas? Is it as (in my opinion) complex as 3DSMax, or as (again, imo) easy as Valve's Hammer?
But real people CAN lean around a corner D:
Shooting accurately like that is another story... Especially if you're able to lean and fire heavy weapons at the same time...
Yeah, I agree that there definitely needs to be a little more balance done to the the enemy strength. Lol
I went "Squeeeeee!" when I saw this. I hope you don't mind.
If it crashes, I restart it. If it crashes again, I try to figure out what the **** I broke, fix it, and restart. After that I proceed to throw the CD case (often with the CD inside) across the room and back.
Steam games/mods get uninstalled, since you can't throw those about unless of course you buy retail, not online.
OMG SKIFREE! I played this all the time on my grandmothers 3.1! Oddly, I don't remember ever winning...
I wanted to play this simply for the massive avatar customization, but the stupid thing devours resources like Rosie does funnel cakes.
Possibly just filler screenshots until they have some of their own? Though I think they could do to describe what the game is going to be about a little better than they have...
So what you're saying is it will be more like a two player, 2D, side-view RTS than anything else? If so, will you be using type-specific bot-path nodes to get the units to travel from each side? What would be the restriction to keep the players from just sending over 500 basic units 10 seconds into the game (resources, timer-based, etc.)? How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
These are all questions that we want to know the answers to, or at least I do.
This has wonderful graphics and good gameplay. I'd love to see something like it in FPS view though, or at least TPS. The overhead just isn't my cup o' tea. Also, would kill to see co-op, even if it were single PC co-op.
This HAS to be finished and released! >:U
Yeah, it's kind of weird that nobody has uploaded a single one of the thousands of Fable mods.
Back when I first played this, the missions were insanely hard, but it has excellent graphics, especially compared to the other DF games (Wtf was up with them switching the HUD Gun graphic style in Land Warrior that made it look shittier than the first game?
Fun game in multiplayer, and I love the unique art style, but the single player was lacking something for me.
The Claw made me cream my pants, srsly. Epic game, but the ending was kind of sudden, should have been longer.
I agree, this game may not be lined up with the movie (then again, it's a PREquel to the films, not during or after them), and sure it's graphics aren't top-notch, but it is fun as hell, and using this engine lets us gib the zeds in all sorts of ways which is awesome. Sure, the vanilla multiplayer maps are generally bad, but oh well.
