Entropy is not applicable here. Life operates using Gibbs Free Energy, not entropy, because life is not a CLOSED physical system. Life operates based upon a larger environment, because it is not in a state of physical isolation. The same can be said for societies. In fact, dynamic systems such as life increase ECTROPY, the conceptual opposite of entropy. You clearly have no functional understanding of the word, as you resort to etymology to make your argument, which is entirely irrelevant, as was bringing up information theory. In that context it is a measure of unpredictability.

The biological singularity is merely the point at which medicine renders human beings immortal. Again, not what is depicted in this mod.

Also, the Eastern philosophy to which you are referring is simply imagined dogma like any western religion. It is utterly irrelevant to the modern world, just like any other delusional thinking.

Also, I must point out that entropy is merely a tendency towards disorder in closed physical system. It does not describe the behavior of societies, as societies are the result of emergent complexity and are not closed physical systems. In G string, Earth isn't even a closed societal system, due to the aforementioned colonies, so I'd recommend that you avoid describing the events of G string as entropy.

Also, I'm now completely in the dark as to what you mean by the "singularity". I'd caution that the concept doesn't get interpreted as some kind of "rapture for nerds", as it has been described by detractors.

About the rejection of the value of objects, is this some kind of neo-Luddite (to clarify, anti modernity/technology) message? If so, I disagree with it, but you're free to make your artistic expression, and I appreciate different perspectives.

I'd be very interested to see some more exposition regarding Myo's development. Perhaps it's super-intelligences akin to the aliens in 2001 a space Odyssey, or perhaps it's Lovecraftian beings (that's how I interpret the menacing, deep voice that adresses you late in the game). Either of those'd go a long way towards explaining how one can have a "singularity" without significant technological development.

Also, if society is dead, why do they even need such a large police force? If the government can suppressed the far more advanced and complicated internet (something which governments today can't even dream of, with things like onion routing), Why can't they block Riley Verge's radio signal or just kill him, since he was foolish enough to use his real name?

What's the deal with the gold supply? Why the hell would the U.S. ever go back on the gold standard? I really like this mod conceptually, although there are a few things I'd personally tweak in the upcoming version. Keep in mind that this is merely my perspective, and I don't want to interfere with the mod maker's artistic vision.

This mod's storyline confused me in several ways, and I was wondering if anyone had the answers to these inquiries.

First of all, how is America able to survive a poisoned atmosphere, but Europe is wiped out by it being "very cold"? Also, if this mod is intended as a critique of capitalism, Europe would fare better than America. Scandinavia, Iceland and most of western Europe is far closer to socialism than America. Is this mod's contention that that balance reverses?

Also, regarding the "singularity", I think the mod maker seems a bit confused. The singularity depicted here is attempting to present the technological singularity, which is merely an extrapolation of logarithmic models of technological development, which results in the development of superhuman intelligence. Of course, this is a wonderful subject for a game, or any sci-fi story, but here the singularity is a vortex of color activated by a psychic girl going to sleep. It's more akin to the end of the film version of AKIRA, in which the event was the creation of a universe, which is an entirely different kind of singularity. The only similarity between them is the Cartesian coordinate systems used in their modeling.

While another multiplayer zombie game sounds fine, what I really want is a zombie mod with an actual story. (similar to They Hunger).

Very nice work. I enjoy your team's use of minimalist lighting. You always know how to draw the player's attention like moths to a bug zapper. The problem that I always had with classic horror games, like System Shock 1 and 2, is that they forget that one's imagination is the most effective graphics engine. The ONLY thing I liked about this mod was the irony of how the objective of this game is to shoot yourself in the face to escape it.

Is the grass in this mod made with sprites or models? Source allows for both, but half life only uses sprites.

I have. To double check I launched ep2 again before trying to play HL2 wars again. It is still the same.

I have the half life 2 and all of the episodes installed, but when I try to play it, the game has missing textures, and the npcs have messed up animations and stretching which make the game unplayable.
