Well, Canada is the second largest country in the world, so I'll let you draw your own conclusion regarding your friends :D
Not anymore, it's fixed.
You might want to retry, the files were not accepted yet when you posted this.
I think my buddies managed to get the L4D1 characters in the L4D2 version. But it's up to them to confirm that.
This is the most ridiculous thing I read all day. So basically, because there's two bugs in the WHOLE campaign, it's poorly tested? You've got to be kidding me, trolling is an art, and you don't get it.
This is damn true :D
Tweaking the gamma should do it I guess?
Thanks for the feedback guys!
Seems okay now.
The campaign is live on Ihatemountains.com we'd like to release it here too, but the file validation seem to take a long time.
We'll work on it after the release, don't know how it's gonna work... we'll see.
Well, there's a bit of that indeed, you know how it works. I really wish ModDB.com would allow a more convenient way to manage both a website and the mod's profile without having to do everything twice.
To thank you for your translation work on Prelude ;)
We didn't forget, it's on the trailer's page and on our website!
Sorry JPC, it was just too tedious to update both websites, especially because of the media we linked. It's not fair for ModDB, but you guys should do something for teams that already have a website. Maybe some sort of RSS syncing or something.
(not that I care this much, but if you had asked, I would have accepted)
Interesting use of my dm_tropic map without any authorization: Hl.logout.fr
No Linux server? Don't you think you're shooting yourself in the foot?
I almost bought UT3 just for this mod. And while it didn't blown off my expectations, I guess it's quite a good achievement. I played from the start to Teotl II in one run and only exited because I ran over an over-complicated problem that I couldn't sort out. So far, the concept is great, the execution is great, the teaching is great, and apart for some rough edges like stenchy says, it's really good.
Yeah, why don't you just stfu while you're at it? :D
You mean, what is it? Where is it? Or what's it purpose?
Yes, there's a 100% chance, but not for the moment =)
Yes, it's work in progress.
It should be canadian mountains, since it was found on websites talking about canada, but well. We don't really care after all, all we want to achieve is this kind of environment.
If only Valve would be kind enough to finally release the god damn SDK.
And pointing this out makes you really interesting.
Left 4 Dead has some specificities in the way nav meshes are built, never had any problem with open spaces before.
This campaign is built the Valve way, we are not trying to revolutionize anything, we just want to provide more content to this awesome game.
We'd love to have cut-scenes, but as L4D developers say in their developer commentaries, it's awful having to wait several minutes before the campaign starts (which is what everyone wants) and before we get our statistics at the end (which is what everyone wants).
I think you posted in the wrong topic =)
An Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (3.16GHz)
We're indeed using custom content, because L4D doesn't contains anything interesting to make a different ambience.
