Mainly I'm an hobby 3d artist using Blender to create almost everything from highpoly humanoid characters to lowpoly static meshes. In addition to this I'm a wannabe-game-developer with too many ideas. I'm also capable of storywritting and project management.

Hi there,

thanks for the information. We removed the content immediatly after realising that it clearly wasn't made by one of our artists.

We are sorry for displaying it in the first place but we didn't know about its original source. Thanks again for your help. We all hope this won't happen again.

Of course there will be a few ingame activities that a single player will be able to handle but since we are aiming for some sort of parlour game most parts will heavily rely on the co-op based multiplayer.

We'll try to make this dream come true. :)
About the crossbows: We'll probably add them in a later stage of the game. In comparison to other RPG's we're right now focusing on background stories and roleplaying instead of the combat system but there will be a variety of weapons at your disposal in the end.

If you have further ideas let us know. We're always happy about feedback and ideas from the community.

I'd like to order one of those big ones in a wooden bucket for my living room!

Now this level even looks better than before, those plants really are amazing. I guess these were created with custom 3d models rather than using the Unity tree creator?

Nice. I'm looking forward to those screenshots.

How long did the modelling process take you? I'm just curious.

The shadows make them look a bit plump but I guess texture- and normalmaps will sort that problem out especially when you put them into the game.

Will there be ranged weapons? Then you could add roman pilums, javelins or even bow and arrow. Dart arrows could also be a nice addition though I don't know if they were used by roman gladiators.

But you should really think about adding the gladius since it was the primary sword of roman footsoldiers.

Just a quick tip: If you hit [ALT + PRINT] Windows will only take a screenshot of the current active window. This way your windows-bar won't be included in the screenshot.

I don't know if you've been aware of this but it'll make your screenshots look more professional.

BTW: Blender! Nice!!

Just gave it a try and I'm sorry to say that I had to stop playing after a few seconds in order to download Unity. AWESOME!!!

Please keep up the good work! I'd like to see this game completed!

Awesome! Every part of this scene really fits into the overall composition!
Is it possible for you guys to release a small tutorial how you achieve this graphical style using the Unity engine? Or maybe give me a few hints because I'm dying to find out how you made this look so amazing!

Please keep up the good work. Tracking!

Just a few tips for further weapon design:
Glowing stuff is always looking cool but not very authentic, for example this turret will make an excellent target in the darkness. Furthermore the shape and base of the turret don't seem stable enough to support the weapons recoil or taking hits. Try to add sloped armor platings to the front part for example. I'm also wondering if this is a portable weapon, if so think about the way it's beeing transported by the soldier. You could make it as some kind of backpack by adjusting its shape.

Regarding the combination of colors I really like the first and the second one from the left.

Anyway it's a nice looking concept sheet - keep up the nice work!
